not odd at all, thanks for the question! i love talking about meat rabbits :]
i use a method called cervical dislocation. i consider it to be the most humane as it completely severs the connection between the brain and spinal cord, resulting in an immediate loss of consciousness and sensory processing when done correctly. other methods can also be humane (pellet gun, captive bolt), but leave more room for error imo and this is the method i prefer.
there's really two ways to do it. first is the broomstick method, where you sit the rabbit on the ground, lay a long, sturdy stick across the back of the neck, then when you're ready you grab the back feet and step on either end of the stick while swiftly pulling upwards, instantly dislocating the cervical vertebrae. this is what i do now.
i'm thinking of switching to the hopper popper (funny name) though. this is a v-shaped welded hook which you can mount to a barn wall or tree trunk and the rabbit's neck just slides in there and you pull the back feet the same way. this method just eliminates the need to coordinate stepping on the stick and lets you put the hook at a comfortable level so you don't have to bend over, so it's easier (as long as you have rabbits that don't mind being held), but it's the exact same thing.

Some smaller goals are lilacs, palominos, czech frostys, and maybe a satin rex project.
I currently have one mutt (TAMUK, Rex and i think a bit of satin?) named Uno for his one ear. I like him a lot :3
I plan on mostly breeding for meat and fur, though im considering also showing (eventually)
