“2. Butterfly Kiss ”

finishing the short film that had been playing on his relatively new P.E.D., violet looked to hagedis, who had seemingly fallen asleep on the couch with a book in hand. 

the short he had watched has been an episode in regards to ‘love’ and had portrayed a pair of people committed to an action he found him-self growing ever more sincerely curious about. 

apparently, now, batting one’s eyelashes against another’s cheeks was considered a via-ble method of communication. how strange…that he had never once before heard of it. 

an idea–albeit possibly not his best one–coming to mind, violet decided to host an experimentation. purely scientific in nature, of course, and to determine practically whether or not this modus operandi of getting a message across was effect-ive. 

standing up from his spot on the couch and walking around it, he came to stand behind where hagedis’ had fallen asleep. leaning down and looking rather intensely concentrated in his mission of discovery, he inched his way closer to the man until his eyelashes were just about to touch his cheek. 

The broom closet smelled like must and dust and yet somehow still managed to hold an ever present homeyness in the thick air. Violet looked to Hagedis, his ‘partner in crime’ for this round of Seven Minutes in Heaven.

Who would have thought he would have been convinced to play?

He looked at the man, wondering, for a moment, whether he should initiate contact or wait for him to do so before recalling the objective and mechanics of the game--or, in the least, what he had been told.

Just as he was prepared to make a move, he recalled that day in the cafe with Hagedis; the day he had seen the couple kissing outside and expressed his desire to attempt such a scenario. Odd the way such an attempt would be made with the very person who, that day, would lecture him on the personal aspect of kissing.

As the height difference was rather significant, Violet found himself looking for a stool rather than with pressed lips to the opposite in the room. And, before he could have found one in the dark of that enclosed space, “time up” was being called.

my opinion on;

character in general: HAGEDISSSSS!! OKAy, this muse is great--just wonderful and I love the way he has so many angles--like--he’s a very dimensional character which brings me to...how they play them: RIGHT! So, as I was sayin’, I love his portrayal in that all aspects of the character are shown off and it’s evident within his mannerisms and insecurities the way his background and history have shaped him. There’s great development and I love the way he’s shaped and just--AH. Everything about this muse, the process--everything!! is just plain greatthe mun: Mun and I have actually talked quite a fair bit and I’ve got to say...:I LOVE SCREAMING ABOUT OUR MUSES WITH HER. But in all seriousness, she’s a v cool mun and has some freaking amazing plot ideas and threads running around and threading with her is a great time
