why she was directing such a comment at the likes of HIMSELF was well beyond rat, but in his usually curt fashion, nothing is stated in response. rainey was quite the interesting character to say the least, ( would spout humoresque enough statements to be kept within his company for a little while longer ). carried a sentiment of violence so deeply layered rat wasn’t sure at this point if quips like this one were jokes on the behalf of grungy desert civilians or a suggestion that there was some threat looming over them they needed to take care of. nonetheless, he gives a simple shrug. nothing more, nothing less. rifle is picked up from the dirt, gloved hand giving it a swipe to free remaining dirt from its lacquer. ranger gives a grunt, dips his head, motions for rainey to follow him once more. he doesn’t think it’ll hurt to people watch for a few minutes more.
