I'm tired of feeling down on myself, bad about myself, tired of feeling like a failure and all the other doubts related to the chaotic life that fucks with my emotions called nursing school. Fuck those professors who brag about how people had to drop out of class. Fuck those professors who don't have faith that you can't pass their class. They were probably the ones in nursing school that were so annoying that when they raised their hands the other students rolled their eyes. I'm so tired of feeling down on myself. I've never reached this level before and I'm done with it.
Basically, I'm coming back. I am the comeback kid.
This is me saying no to them. This is me saying I'm fighting back. This is me saying I want this career I want this life and I'm not giving it up.

This week is my spring break. I had plans to go to Florida with some friends and just enjoy being 20 years old, but no. My WMST professor, the uptight one who is anal about every little deadline and kills everything enjoyable about the class, scheduled our midterm directly AFTER we come back from spring break. I've taken midterms for all of my other classes already. It's common courtesy for professors to give us the midterm BEFORE we go on break so we can be stress free for that one short week before we reach grind time up until finals, but no. Not only that, but she also gave us a project to do as well. Is it just me or did she really want to ruin some people's plans? One girl asked her why she would give us a midterm after spring break and she used this really superficial, plastic looking smile she does all the time and said she wanted to give us extra study time....BULL. She told us to meet with each other over the break to study in groups. Are you serious??? Most of us don't live in the same area! Some of us don't even live in this state! When we mentioned this to her she said, "That's your choice", which to me means "Too freaking bad. Suffer and get over it." I just went through my stupid facebook feed and saw pictures of people on the beach and plans being made to have fun and here I am, in my house with a huge notebook next to me and tons of flashcards. Not to mention I have a Spanish composition the Monday we come back as well. I know I'm complaining, but I'm mad, dammit! I was looking forward to giving my mind a rest, but I can't even do that! I find it odd that she came from teaching middle school to teaching college kids. It definitely shows, too. She treats us like insubordinate children sometimes. I can't trust people who don't have genuine smiles. I will definitely NOT be taking any of her other classes.
