Took myself on a date! It was so lovely! I went for breakfast and shopping.

I have an early shift at work today. I wanted a big breakfast so I’d stay full since today’s just my half day and a lunch break isn’t really a thing today. Everyone else at home was still asleep so I didn’t want to do a lot of cooking and wake them up. I decided, ya know what, why don’t I just grab my laptop and go to Caribou for a while? 

I unexpectedly got to take myself out on a me date today. Woohoo! I went to a coffee shop that serves every waffle you can imagine and then some. Everything from Butterbeer waffles to Chili Dog waffles. I got their Butterbeer Latte, today is the first day they are serving it, and an apple crips waffle which is stuffed with real apples. Yummy! 

One of the things that I’ve been really wanting to do, on top of everything else that captivates my interest, is really working on this blog again. Creating my own content and adding posts. The nice thing about Tumblr is that it isn’t too serious. I’m not paying for my own domain name so I’m just investing some time and not so much financially. Thank goodness because that poor college grad life is real! I’m just looking for a way to practice and learn in a relaxed setting. So I’m going to take a few minutes on this me date to explore what content I want to create and how I can do it regularly without finding it to be a burden.

This blog post you are reading about reading is late. I would apologise but it’s not really something I need to be sorry for. You see, I had my bad luck three which came in injuries. I spent nearly a week unable to sit at my computer without pain. Sleep and I were not friends. When your knees are so bruised that the slightest pressure makes you want to scream, sleep becomes a hazardous exercise.
