oooohhh, tell me something about your relationship in science bros, How was the first time you were all in the same room, before love came? -nkm-alter-egos
Omg thanks so much for asking this I have no idea when you sent this but tytytytyty
So my self insert Fei apprentices under dr strange so sheâs frequently in NYC for her studies!! Sheâs supposed stay in the sanctum but she goes out a lot because she volunteers to pick up snacks. On these snack runs sheâll run into trouble and this is how she meets Peter!! They bust bad guys together sometimes!!
((she has a different outfit for superhero-ing so neither peter nor fei can recognize each other out of costume until infinity wars/post-iw. they def have run into each other on the street before tho lololol)
Fei meets Shuri during infinity war because she couldnât make it on the ship to save dr strange and goes to wakanda with banner and them. They probably first met during that scene where shuri corrects dr banner and Fei is just likeâŠ. âoml⊠this girlâŠ.. has got my ass whipped alreadyâŠ.â
the first time they all meet is probably after iw2Â
fei and shuri are hugging because they are just so happy they came out of it alive and together. fei has her arms wrapped around shuri as tight as possible and shuri is burying her face in the crook of feiâs neck. when they come apart, fei sees peter still in his spiderman suit and tells him her true identity. thereâs a big reveal that fei and peter have known each other all along and they all end up friends!!Â
theyre dynamic is really comfortable and chill and they all get along really easily together!! no one feels third wheeled :^) they set up a group chat and when one of them gets bored they change the name.Â
the following have, at one point, been the name of the gc:
- the meme team (original, by shuri)
- dumbasses united (an inside joke, by fei)
- the lunch club (by peter, âwe cant be the breakfast club! there isnt enough of us and lunch is the best meal of the day anywayâ)
- basically avengersâą (peterâs idea but put in place by fei)

When Iâd first arrived at the Avengers headquarters, Iâd been unconscious and bleeding from gut-shot that had torn up my side. Apparently I was lucky I hadnât lost a kidney (although apparently one of my intestines had required stitches).
Once I was up and moving, there needed to be a room for me to stay in. However, new additions hadnât really been planned. So I was given the living room.
Although it was less of a living room and more a section of the common room quarters that had the games table and kitchen area, that had a series of large couches and chairs.
There was, like, 360-degree window view from my seat though. So although I had to deal with ridiculously early wake-ups from the resident soldiers before they went off to do training, as well as people passing through whilst I attempted to nap or socialise over a laptop, I couldnât have asked for a better room.
âWe need to be kept in line.â
âWe should to be able to help those who need it, regardless of charge.â
âSo you want to be able to charge in all gung-ho? Cause another Lagos scene?â
âTony, now is not the time-â
The temptation to plug headphones into my laptop and turn the volume up on some Alestorm began to gnaw at my temple.
It wasnât that I had no interest in these politics. If these Sokovia Accords were to pass, they would impact me as well as the Avengers. I may not have signed up as one of the various Inhumans or super-soldiers that agreed to form the Avengers, but if I was going to keep living here and taking missions, I may as well get used to the damned title.
I didnât like it, but still.
I continued to tap away at the keyboard, taking pause every now and again. Social websites were marvellous for keeping up-to-date with global events when you spent 80% of your time in a glass box. It also allowed me to inform those people in my past life that I was still Not Dead Yet.
As I closed down another chat-log, the voices from the meeting table continued, but they seemed to be ebbing, the arguments tailing off.
A bone muzzle nudged into my arm, and I traced my hand over Dogâs head in response.
This is causing you unrest is it not?
âYeah, not much I can do about itâ, I mumbled in reply. âThis is adult business after all.â
But you are an adult too.
This encouraged a snort of amusement from myself. âLegally, yep. Thatâs about it.â
Dog let out a snuffle noise, and levered her head under my arm fully, so I was half leaning on the couch and half draped over her neck. I didnât complain â she was warm and comfortable.
âYou havenât touched your tea.â Visionâs voice broke through whatever train of thought I had going.
âOh? Uh.â Indeed, there was a mug on the coffee table, just within armâs reach. I couldnât quite remember when Iâd brewed it, or if someone else had put that there for me. Still, I put aside the laptop and grabbed the mug. Lukewarm, but better than cold.
âThanksâ, I mumbled over the lip of the mug and giving Vision a small smile, one that he returned.
âWhat do you think of these accords?â, he asked me, taking a seat nearby. A small rumble echoed in Dogâs throat, a warning. Indeed, my cheeriness faded abruptly.
âIâŠ.I honestly donât knowâ, I sighed. âThey might be useful but they might also be liable to loopholes and corruption and worse. These are government folks weâre talking about after all, politicians and the such.â I paused to inhale, then let out an aggravated sigh. âThereâs a reason people donât like âem.â
âAnd yet they continue to retain positions of significanceâ, Vision replied. âI cannot see why they would be so disliked and still remain in power, unless they are capable of carrying out their roles and duties.â
âHun, youâve been alive for what. 5 months?â
âThat is the period of time Iâve had corporeal form, however the amount of information I have amassed is significantly greater than your 20 years.â
I opened my mouth to retort, closed it, huffed, then folded my arms.
âI noticed Mr Stark didnât pop by to say hi.â
âI feel he was disappointed by the events in Lagos.â
âNo shit.â
Letting out a grumbling noise, Dog stood. With my arm still hooked over her neck, I was lifted to my feet.
âIâm gonna go. Tâ talk to Wanda.â
Vision was silent as I left. I think he might have been disappointed as well.
--
âTwelve.â
âI know. But it couldâve been a lot worse.â
âThatâs what everyone keeps saying. Itâs those who stay quiet that I feel worst about.â I wrapped an arm around Wanda, pulled her close in a hug. She continued softly, âThey canât even tell me how they feel. Like theyâre too scared to say anything.â
âTell me about itâ, I mumbled. Dog crooned from the side of the bed we were sat on, in Wandaâs room. This prompted at least a small smile from Wanda â she was one of the few that liked having Dog around, and often treated her as a pet as opposed than a tool.
âWhat do you think? About whatâs going to happen?â, she asked.
ââŠI honestly donât know. But I hope itâs good.â And it was left at that. We sat together in silence, two women grown up too fast and with accidental blood on our hands that refused to clean itself off.
