Just a scene I had to get out of my head @sorceress-queen

Loki stared at the table but he wasn’t registering anything around him. His mind felt like an everlasting pit that he was forever falling in. He felt numb and empty like he had never felt before. His mind punished him with images of her hair, her smell, her voice, everything he would never see, smell and feel again. It had been 15 days since his wife the kingdoms queen had died. 

The god felt a tug on his clothing and looked down at his side to see his grandchild at his side looking up at him to be picked up. He took in a breath as he looked into his eyes and felt shocked to have his mind pulled back into the room.  He slowly looked up in front of him to see everyone around the table staring at him and run his hands over his face pressing his fingers against his eyelids. Loki was pale, he couldn’t sleep, he felt like he couldn’t breathe without her. 

“Father, were worried about you” he heard his son Vali say before everyone else seamed to chime in with their concerns that just made his head feel like it was going to implode with all the voices in the room. Loki slammed his fist on the table “ENOUGH” he growled through gritted teeth which made the room go silent. 

Loki and Keki had been experimenting with how they wanted to live their life together now they were engaged. Loki knew they couldn’t have children so the obvious route of starting a family wasn’t part of their future and Loki was fine with that. 

They both had their traumas to learn to live with and they needed an outlet, they needed a distraction. Their passion was turning out to be sports and activity. It had started with a hike to just get out of the house, then they tried running each morning and adopted that into their lives, they tried going to the gym together but it was nothing like running in nature. 

Loki saw an advert for ice skating lessons and come up with an idea, he was going to take Keki skating. Loki had told her to wear warm gym clothes and took the public transport with her. He covered her eyes as they walked towards the building and once inside Loki kissed her cheek and removed his hands to show her the ice skating rink. “Welcome to your surprise” he grinned so excited to get on the ice. 

So I had a thread with someone who deleted and I would love to carry on the AU.

Basically Loki died in end game. The gods decided that he was too much trouble to keep and sent him to earth with a mission. He had no clue what the mission was. He had been stripped of his powers and suddenly made somewhat human.

His not coping very well after witnessing what had happened. He had no money so very quickly he became homeless. Flash forward to a few years on and Loki had given up on finding the mission and more concentrated on survival. He lives on the streets and got used to the way of life.

When (whoever) finds them on the street and takes them in Loki finds it hard to accept any help from anyone. Life on the streets had been tough and his new human form takes getting used to. His stubborn but over time he learns to trust the person who rescued him.

Loki opened the box and looked at Mina, he already knew the shape of the object inside. He felt like for a moment he couldn’t breathe. He calsped his hand over his mouth and gulped knowing if it was what he thought it was he was going to cry. 

He turned it over and gasped “Mina, holy shit” he grinned and felt the sting of tears from his eyes. He hid his face in his hands and bent over as he cried with happiness. This was a new beginning. It made everything fall into place. 

He turned to Mina and took her hands and looked into her eyes and kissed her lips. He had something of his own planned but he wanted to take a moment to enjoy their news. “Are you okay? How long? My god, were going to need a house!” he was a crying happy mess. He would never let himself be like this with anyone else. 

It was Christmas morning. Loki had woken up early and for some reason felt compelled to check that the small box was still under the tree where he had left it. He nervous, more nervous than he had ever been when going into battle, more nervous than standing in chains in front of Odin, more nervous than when he stood before Thanos. 

He had no clue that this would be how he would feel. He looked at the clock to see that it was 4am. It was too early to stay up so he decided to get some water and try and sleep more. His mind went through every possible outcome for what he had planned. 

Loki wrapped his arms around Keki and buried his face in her hair and found himself falling asleep pretty quickly. When he was woken up by the sun coming through the crack of the curtains and into his eyes he felt slightly sick. 

Thor arrived early and nearly couldn’t contain his excitement. He sat in the living room with him as they drunk coffee. Loki was wearing loose comfortable trousers, black socks and a hoodie Keki had bought him. His hair was up in a messy bun. He thought about getting dressed up but he thought Keki would think something was up. 

Thor was so supportive. Since they had been back in touch both of them were now doing well, they would never been healed from what they went through but being in each others lives made things easier. 

Loki looked up as Keki emerged from the bedroom. Loki and Thor spoke in sync as they wished her a merry christmas making each other laugh a little. After more coffee and putting on the local radio that played festive music they started to open a few presents. 

Loki had gifted Thor and Thor colouring book and pens as well as a Funko pop of them both as well as a necklace that he had made for him with a green and red gemstone inside to represent them both. Thor had bought Loki a cookbook and an apron, special men’s shampoo for long hair that Thor swore by and a viking good luck pendant made from some of the last Asgardian gold they had left. The last gift made loki emotional and the brothers hugged. 

Loki had bought Keki the sports trainers she had been lusting after, he had a mug made saying “best girlfriend in all the 9 realms” and a beauty gift voucher.

Then Loki looked to Thor who put a hand on his shoulder and nodded as to say it was time. Loki took a small box from under the tree and couldn't hide his smile as he handed it for Keki to open. Once it was open and the velvet box was revealed Loki took it from her and got down on one knee in front of her with a big grin on his face “Kekipi Sauvage, you are everything to me, I can’t ever see a life without you... will you marry me?” he grinned as he opened the small box. The ring was part metal and engraved with runes, the centre was asgardian gold some of the last to exist now asgard was gone. In the center was a engraving of a wolf surrounded by runes that spelt out Loki and Keki

Loki having a breakdown while simultaneously holding a knife up at the person trying to help him. Growling and showing his teeth all while tears stream down his cheeks. He would threaten to stab the other person if they got closer but never does. When he feels the others arms around him he just collapses into them while muttering reasons why the other person shouldn't help them or care. He would insult them with his venomous tongue to get them to give up on him but in reality he really needs them.
