“it’s right next to the kitchens, midnight snacks whenever you want them”

“literally the coziest beds! gryffindor tower is all drafty and cold but in hufflepuff you’re always snug and warm with a fire in your dorm”

“they throw the best parties, let me tell you. and sprout doesn’t break them up like other heads of houses do”

“did i mention the snacks? there’s always honeyduke’s available whenever you want it, right there in the common room!!”

“around the holidays there’s always this hot cocoa competition for who can make the best cup and everyone in the house votes. just picture coming back from a long day of classes and you’ve got twelve different steaming mugs of hot, chocolatey goodness waiting for you”

“study parties were the best. they were always more party than study but, hey, we weren’t put in ravenclaw house for a reason, am i right?”

“Son, could you just take a second and clean up your room? The pizza will soon start walking on its own.”

   “ SO could you! you weren’t MEANT to follow me in. ”

      apologetic eyes met the other male’s, the defensive tone that ran through his words perhaps childish, but covering the guilt and genuine concern that laced them. perhaps the situation hadn’t gone exactly how it was planning on in louis’s mind. but in retrospect perhaps he should have worked out a better answer to ‘what are you doing’ than telling ted the complete truth.

Dear Teddy,

I don’t like this. I don’t like Hogwarts. It’s not fun at all, and so far everyone laughs at me. I miss you and Mum and Dad and I really don’t like how Jame’s was right, Teddy. I got sorted into Slytherin, if you must know. Sorry my parchment is all wet....i spilled stuff on it.
