the carousel keeps spinning,

and you can never get off.

I wonder dear,

how many spins,

does your demise cost…?

not trying to be grim..

though, this spin has been awful brutal..

is hope in hiding…?

or simply dying..?

life’s plane crashed and we’re just here,

barely surviving..

wandering lost,

searching for someone else who’s still alive,

who can help us figure out what to do;

all the while aching, injured and missing a shoe..

sifting through rubble

no clue what to do.

hope might’ve passed away..

though when I cannot say,

I choose to believe that she’s in hiding..

growing stronger everyday.

because she keeps losing vessels,

to life’s little games;

and she needs to do more spreading,
