Overall Opinion: hey i’m rotting irl thinking about how much i love this record
ALTHO. i don’t necessarily think it’s the most consistent. a lot of the stuff that retains the holdover sound from CTtM (the singles mostly) doesn’t grab me so much now that i’m not 17. but it’s also the first place u really get MCS experimenting outside of a pretty accepted sound, and even if it’s got some growing pains it’s still the home of my two all time fav mcs songs, including point of extinction, which is like. a vitally important song in the MJ canon and the one i had justin write lyrics down from for my mcs tat

Overall opinion: this is one of the only mcs albums i didn’t listen to In The Moment (i came back to it after panic stations had been released) and i’m so? sad i didn’t? because there’s stuff on here i probably desperately needed to be expressing in 2012 or whenever. sometimes this is my fav MCS album, duking it out against heavyweight champ even if it kills me. it’s the one i listened to the most when i found out they were disbanding, and the one i listened to most when i was following them around on tour.Â
idk go has a lot of good justin-isms that are suited for me the grownup, not me the endless pop punk teen. i really appreciate it. i really wish they’d played any go songs other than true romance on their last tour
rare but beautiful thing: when MCS plays attractive today live and the audience shouts “I LIKE YOU” and justin says “thanks!!!! :D”Â
i lied about watching rock montreal i’m watching a vid of the commit this to memory album release concert and even tho ive seen mcs Dozens of times and even tho it’s a youtube video i still clapped and yelled when jesse did the handstand
