kinda like the idea of poly mcr but the relationship centers around Ray. Like I know Gee/Illi is normally the center of poly mcr stuff, but imagine:
You are Mikeyway in high school
You have a crush on this guy who is a grade or so above you, and he's really nice to you, has luscious hair and a beautiful smile, but he's your siblings best friend so all you can really do is stare at him whenever he's hanging out in your basement.
Then your best friend Frankie comes out to you, says he kissed Ray at a party in your basement, but they were both drunk. It couldn't mean anything, right?
So you try to get over it. It's just a crush. Try to forget about a stupid kiss you weren't even involved in.
Then, Ray asks Gee/Illi out, and it nearly breaks your heart. You've seen how much Ray stares at them. You know that he was Gee's friend first. Of course, he would have feelings for them. Cause who wouldn't fall for Gee.
For awhile it's all unspoken feelings and tension. Frankie starts making jokes about having a threesome with Ray and Gee, but there's an edge to his voice that makes it clear he isn't joking. And you can't help but feel a little left out.
So, maybe you get angry, you get snappy. You're friends get worried about you. But, it's Ray that reaches out. Ray who is so nice and concerned and wants to talk about life and feelings.
You kiss him, and it feels like the end of the world. You feel like you betrayed your sibling and your best friend all in one go. You think even if it ruins your relationship with Ray forever, you'd at least get closure. A chance to move on.
You definitely didn't expect Ray to kiss you back.
