Mcon and their stars sat down with TM Magazine for an exclusive interview in which the screenwriter and her protégés discussed the roles they will be playing when October comes.
Starting with a fan favorite, Spencer Reid, who introduces himself with a bashful smile, has signed on to Mcontober for the first time. He's worked with Mcon many times before, and most of their films have hit big at the box office. Spencer and Mcon are still working out the details of their film, but it's sure to be a smash hit. They plan on taking inspiration from music Spencer and Mcon bond over for their film.
Another regular, Fontaine Chamberlain, has signed onto Mcontober 2025. His reasoning? He was extremely excited to be considered for a role in the screenwriter's first feature film saga. He trusted them when they told him that they wouldn't be able to put his film out as they anticipated. He knew it would just take time, and he never doubted their skill. Fontaine and Mcon sit unnervingly close, exchanging glances TM Magazine won't put a name to.
Mcon and Fontaine have many scripts waiting to be finished, and they have shared that they have one in mind for this saga. They're still deciding if they want Fontaine to take the meaner, rougher route, or something else entirely. Whatever they decide, Fontaine says that he trusts Mcon's direction.
A newcomer, straight from the Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul cast, has been in communication with Mcondance in the previous months. Jimmy Mcgill joins the Mcondance casting couch as Saul Goodman, playing a trashy lawyer screwing an actress young enough to be his daughter. It's his favorite thing to do, he says, playing trashy is his home turf.
For novelty, Carmen Berzatto has given himself to Mcon for them to put him in whatever situations they see fit. Workshopping is what they're calling it.
Carmen reflected on his workshopping with Mcon with a smile, sharing that he enjoys mulling over ideas with them, late at night when the world is quiet.
Having only starred in shorts crafted just to acquaint Mcon and the Twins with each other, this is The SmokeStack Twins' feature film debut under Mcondance Productions. Based in Chicago, The SmokeStack Twins meet a girl they can't help but take care of. Though on an even-playing field age wise, they still command the room enough to create an obvious and glaring power imbalance, one they purposefully put in the air from years of acting.
Elias, the twin we've gathered to be the talker, shines a bright smile with a gold accessory on one of his teeth as he gushes over Mcondance, and the things that he's seen that she is capable of. "That girl? Yeah. Whatever she give me, it's gon be good."
"We don't just work with anybody. Any motherf****r that wanna work with us gotta be on Mcon's level," Elijah, the quieter twin, asserts. The creative feeling between the three of them is palpable in the room.
We guess Elias, affectionally referred to as "Stack" by his director, can't get enough of Mcon's creative direction, as he's signed on for another film apart from his brother, an idea that sprung up from Elias's performance in the critically-acclaimed film Sinners released earlier this year. Elias Moore stars in a film that explores the connection between the material and lust, with an actress playing a girlfriend who'll jump Elias's bones whenever he comes back from his escapades with shiny new gifts for her.
A household name in the realm of scary sex, Stu Macher predictably reprises his role as the boyfriend who just happens to always be in the right place, at the right time. We as audience know he's been manipulating this poor girl, and her heart-wrenching reactions got her terror across masterfully in the last two short appearances of Manipulative Stu, but our poor girl still doesn't. Stu states that we pick up right there, with an oblivious main character and a ruthless, simply sadistic lover.
Wrapping this saga up is Jesse Pinkman, a new, charming face in Mcon's cast. Jesse stole the show, taking the initiative to explain his film in his own words.
"So like, I play this really sleazy dude, and the actress plays my girlfriend, who's just as sleazy as me, but she doesn't look it. That's where the hot stuff comes in. I mean, everybody's wondering, 'What the f**k's this kid doing with a girl like her?" Jesse's raspy voice sets your skin alight as you imagine him in the role he raves about.
"We're gonna drag out that fake difference at this big Halloween party. Girlfriend's dressed all cute and sweet, I'm dressed like a f*****g dick, everyone's like, "Yeah, makes sense," but later, while everyone's raging, and me and Mcon have already talked about this," (Mcon smiles at Jesse, nodding at him to keep talking), "The camera's gonna pan to this really tiny bathroom, cramped as shit, and Jesse and his girlfriend are gonna be in there, and the girlfriend is gonna finally reveal herself to be just as sleazy as Jesse. Everyone's thinking she's an angel while Jesse knows the real her, and it's the real her that bends over in the bathroom for Jesse at this party."
At that, Mcon outright cackles, but admits her own enjoyment of lewd displays as she shrugs and sighs, "I mean, he is right though. We're gonna make that bathroom scene something to talk about. You think Smoke and Wunmi were bad in Sinners? Wait till you see Jesse and my actress."
Before the ending of the interview, Mcon shared one last statement with TM Magazine. "Now that you've got your lineup, are you excited? I tried to pick some shit I knew would get the people going. Me and my men are gonna work hard to get this out to y'all. All I'mma say is, y'all charge y'all vibes, get ready to see nastiness like I always deliver, and wait for September to end."
