What's going on??? Over the past two years, the Earth got hotter, the plants grew taller, your pets grew up, someone you know got engaged or got married, some of you graduated from school and started a new job or a new business venture, reached a new milestone and some of you also joined a new fandom. How many books have you read? Did you learn how to cook? Did you transfer to an unfamiliar city or traveled to a different country? Were you able to maximize your talents, skills and productivity? Hopefully, yes. Hopefully, you were able to discover more about yourselves, just like McCoy and Elisse.

A ship on a yacht? Is that even possible? With McLisse, it is. A yacht— not too big, not too small, private and romantic. McLisse likes to keep it that way.

The photo reminds us of an unforgettable chapter in a Wattpad novel. It's like a lovely scene from a romantic movie. At first look, it seems too good to be true but once it sinks in, you'll go from "It's too good be true" to "It's so good and it's so true." Its caption gave us all the feels since McCoy used one of the fandom's most treasured words, ALWAYS. "ALL WAYS" added more depth to it. Joy, peace, warmth and security are written all over their faces. The post conveys an extraordinary feeling of freedom, a sense of contentment and infinite bliss.

The recent events, losses, madness in the government (grrrrr!) and the global pandemic somehow became our wake-up call and encouraged us to be more expressive, thoughtful and proactive. The pandemic also taught us to take a good care of ourselves and our loved ones. We only have one life to live so we should stop all our doubts and fears from getting the best of us. We should let happiness in. Right here, right now.

Yes. A good news dropped in the middle of a pandemic. It immediately became a symbol of hope for many of us who are slowly being eaten up by skepticism, animosity and hopelessness. We suddenly have a special reminder that things can get better in time. McCoy didn't just post to give a hint that his heart is at peace. He literally shared his joy to us. Every "finally" we encounter in the comment section stresses that they had been holding it in for the longest time.

The comment section is full of good vibes. Their celebrity friends, co-actors, the staffs they've worked with and the bloggers who consistently root for them couldn't help but express their happiness upon seeing the photo. Anyone could tell that they're genuinely happy for McLisse. The crying emojis, red hearts and words "SA WAKAS" and "FINALLY" definitely made a strong statement.

OUR STORY

It's no secret that McCoy had worked on several movie projects with new love interests and he even started a new business venture while Elisse landed as one of the leads in an afternoon TV series. She also got busy with her business.

McLisseians still expressed their support even in their solo projects. Every one clinged to hope and pride was set aside. We wanted them to feel that we are not just here for "kilig." As McLisseians, we knew that a part of us would always root for them even if they already stopped rooting for us. It was painful to hear them talking about us in past tense but we knew back then that deep down in our hearts, our love for them will always be stronger than our ego as shippers. We couldn't lecture them about love. The heart has a mind of its own. We could only check on them from afar and hope that they would be happy with whomever they'd end up with. It even came to a point where we had to let go and let God.

The super loyal, persistent and ever generous McLisseians continued to see the good in every opportunity. We completely understood that every opportunity they received would help them gain more knowledge and experience. Maturity took over. Each one of us learned to focus on the bright side of life with the vision that their new setup would benefit both of them. They would surely come out as better actors in the industry.

McCoy's post got many people saying "Sana all" but to be honest, McLisseians also had our own "Sana all" moments. We had so many what ifs in our list. McLisse's journey as a love team was quite short compared to others. We had to deal with multiple rejections, cancelled guestings/tours and media play during movie promotions. We got to see them acting with different partners and live with the thought that they aren't each other's first on-screen kiss. HEHE AT LEAST, MAY REAL-LIFE KISS. Ch0ur not ch0ur. Every shipper's dream is to collect many firsts and create more memories with his/her ship. Bittersweet, that's how we call it. McLisse had their own record of life-changing firsts but let's not forget that McLisseians had the privilege (Privilege!? Let's think positive. HAHAHAHA) to experience both reel and real pain earlier than the usual. The unimaginable transition and all the intentional shunning also disheartened us at one point. Sana ganito, sana ganyan. Sana maging okay na sila. Sana po mapagbigyan. It was a never-ending struggle of staying positive in the midst of chaos.

Their love team was slowly dissolved. They broke up and eventually got linked to different people. Right there and then, we knew that we had to know our place as shippers. In our hearts, we firmly believed that we could still make a difference.

McLisseians transformed into prayer warriors who fervently prayed for peace and reconciliation every single day. It was hard to see everything falling apart. We had to endure all the sudden changes, disturbing articles and heartbreaking announcements. We lost both reel and real, we had nothing to hold on to except one another, our faith and our belief that one day, they'll be able to face each other again with a smile.

2020. We started the year full of hope and it's safe to say that McLisseians had been waiting for this moment to come. McCoy kept on saying in his past interviews that they wanted to build a strong foundation first before hinting or confirming anything so we had to go along with it. It came naturally. Our GCs were filled with scoops and rumors. Some people had seen them going out again. We were ecstatic but our first instinct was to protect them. Wag mo ipost!!! Bawal! Ang kulit! Eh pero nasa FB na rin eh!?! Admin oh!!! Hayaan na natin sila, low-key muna tayo. 😂

We used to have petty fights over those things. We prayed a lot for things to get better but we never thought that "better" would mean McCoy and Elisse taking a risk and finally choosing each other again. Honestly, we were okay with them being friends after everything that happened but apparently, they're not okay with that. HAHAHAHAHUHU.

We were infuriated by some nasty articles and insensitive people. The world tested our patience. At times, we would think "McLisse, umamin na nga kayo please. Daming mema, mga kuwento na nakakainis at nakakagigil." It was really disappointing how some people took advantage of their situation. They even assumed that the two didn't reconnect at all. We patiently waited for interviews and other venues where they can freely express themselves. Nacancel TWBA dahil sa lockdown!? May interview? May digital presscon? Sana maghint na sila o magbigay kahit konting clue. McLisseians were hopeful at the very least.

(I had to keep all the excitement to myself. I respected their decision to stay in private so I just waited for a concrete proof/a fearless move from either one of them. And McCoy... Grabe. McCoy's post just blew my mind.)

McLisse is friends with every fandom. It's also nice to see other fandom appreciating our loyalty and our efforts. They would often commend us for sticking with McCoy and Elisse even if they had to part ways as on-screen partners. McLisse's recent update has become every fandom's glimmer of hope.

McCoy and Elisse were apart for quite a while. They went out with other people but eventually found their way back to each other. Love is indeed a verb. It's something that you keep on doing. You show up. You fight. You stay. McCoy and Elisse were able to get to know themselves more. They were able to realize the value of each other more than ever. McLisse will have more days together than the days they spent apart. Maaabot na nilang muli ang kanilang mga pangarap nang magkasama. *sobs*

The future isn't as scary as it seems. Optimism has found its way to us. We just know that we trust McCoy and Elisse so much. All the heartaches in the past inspired all of us to be indestructible. Tough times turned our fandom into one of the toughest fandoms out there. Their CHOICE put back all the pieces together. Mareng Kyla's prophecy was too powerful. Love really led them back to us.

Mall balconies are too hostile to many. People who have fear of heights would always feel weak with their knees trembling just being a few steps close to it. People who are naturally scared of falling wouldn't even dare to stand near the balcony even if it's built with steel bars and glass. It's a no-no-no for them. It gets more frightening once they look down and see how high their spot actually is. The higher the view, the scarier it gets. Mall balconies are usually uninviting but last night, balconies suddenly became friendly to us. For a moment, everyone was ready to look down, to look up, to hold on and to let things fall into place.

Escalated

It's no secret to us that fans always look forward to Star Magic Ball proposals. Too showbiz? Well, it has to be. Star Magic Ball is a highly-anticipated event. Who wouldn't want to gush over cute and creative proposals? It's all part of the process, guys. Publicity counts, gimmicks are given but the “real effort” coming from the artists is what makes it all special. McCoy has always been good in popping surprises. Remember when he came back inside PBB house for SwerTeen ball? The memories of the blindfold, the impulse and the flow of his words are still fresh to us. It was his first proposal to Elisse that made us say “Lord, penge ng isang McCoy!” He also proposed to Elisse last year in It's Showtime where placards and One hundred Roses gladly took the spotlight. Take note, it was LIVE. We'd be lying if we say we aren't proud of these proposals. This year, the fanmily came up with the idea that even an intimate proposal would be fine. But it seems like we're not really meant to settle with assumptions or a discreet invitation. Last night, fans dressed up with Romantic Red shirts and graced the Mega Mall Fashion Hall to witness the Making Mega Turkey Documentary with McLisse. Everyone came to see the MEGA documentary without a clue that something worth documenting was going to happen.

The “Red Balloon series” finally came to an end last night with the last balloon showing up with “LABLAB” written on it. If we're going to think about it, it seems like “time” unselfishly allowed this crazy wonderful plan to work out perfectly. The puzzle pieces perfectly fit one another. Don't blame September for stapling the moments so well! The Good Son, MEGA documentary and Star Magic Ball 2017 were all set to happen this month just like how McCoy's plans were all set to be fulfilled.

LOOK UP x LOOK DOWN

McCoy is a big box full of surprises, you can also consider him as a big box that's full of things that you never thought you needed and he's also a big box who doesn't limit himself inside the four walls. He thinks as if there's no box. He will go out of his way when love calls.

Elisse's happiness was way above the clouds too. The balloons scattered as they floated around the large space. Happiness isn't supposed to stay in one place. It's meant to be shared, it should fly and it should reach even the most hopeless corners of the Earth. Mokya made Elisse's heart happy. He truly did. 

The hundRED balloons fell, the vertical banner showed itself to people who were dying of anticipation. It asked Elisse if she would go to the ball with someone who has always been treating her as a princess. She said “YES” not just once but multiple times. The long banner wasn't just a simple prop. It successfully served its purpose of being a “messenger” that reminded us that no matter how long would it take, we would still get the message. It didn't just show the message literally. It didn't just show us the question written on it. It also showed us the effort, creativity and sincerity all rolled into one long piece of cloth.

We were reminded that in times we're down, we can always look up to search for an answer and in this case, we indeed got an answer-- McCoy really prepared a special proposal for her. The question of whether he would ask her publicly was answered in a very very special way. We also got to hear McLisse calling each other “LabLab” in public! Another oMEGAd moment, bes.

The proposal made a mark in our hearts again. Effort will always beat extravagance. McCoy outdid his past surprises but... no pressure for the future ones, Mokya! We just wanted them to continue surprising each other with good stuffs. The fanmily always got McCoy and ELisse no matter what, with or without grand surprises, we’re always here to hold on. McCoy and Elisse would often say that it's the little things that matter the most, but sometimes it's also good to appreciate the bigger ones so that you can also see how far a person would go for love. Awwww McLisse.

Mall balconies will never be the same again. The next time we find ourselves strolling around the mall, we'll surely look around, notice and appreciate the balcony of each floors. We will always remember how McLisse had let things fall freely into place as we reflect that beautiful things can also happen even in the riskiest places we don't always dare to set foot on.

Star Magic Ball 2017, here we go!!

LAST SATURDAY NIGHT, WE SLEPT.....

...and had a wonderful dream. The first part of our dream was a flashback. A montage of scenes that brought us back to 2016 and early 2017. As the dream went on, we found ourselves holding tickets in our hands. Tickets that said “to one of the best nights of your life.” Tickets which serve as an entry to the happiest place on earth. We were so sure it was not in Disneyland. The dream was quite long. It started with flashbacks then carried on until we finally reached a certain place, a happy place situated at Pasig City. We all entered a beautiful place called “Glass Garden.” The dream felt real. So real.

Roller Coaster

It all started when we got an unexpected invite to ride a roller coaster. We wanted to try other rides that don't involve loops, steep slopes and rollers but we still ended up saying yes to it. In our dream, there was a princess speaking right in front of us. She was saying how thankful she was to everyone for staying with her and his prince through the ups and downs. A large screen showed us the same flashbacks we had initially seen in the first part of our dream. Something was telling us that the ride was extraordinary even if we screamed, squealed and struggled to hold on a lot of times. We suddenly heard teardrops falling. The prince and his princess were....... crying. Ahhh, happy tears.

It flinched our hearts and tears started to form in our eyes too but we knew it wasn't for the reason that we're too scared. The tears fell because our hearts were filled of happiness as if they were about to explode. The roller coaster will always have us as its favorite riders but the princess reminded us to hold on, to never give up and to stay strong. #KapitLang

3D World

Our eyes glimmered the whole night. The beautiful lights might be one of the reasons why they did but we believe they also glimmered because of a number of special moments we've witnessed. We found ourselves crying in our dream so many times. We can still remember how the princess slowly walked down the staircase facing all of us. She was wearing an elegant Red gown with a tiara on. The handsome prince also looked really manly with his Gray suit. 

Our dream was too vivid. We're so sure we also heard speeches full of love and sincerity. Her words shot our hearts and we were fragile enough to let those words shoot us. The dream brought out emotions we suddenly didn't know how to deal with. It was that very moment that tore all our walls down.

The princess said....

“To Marc Carlos, Ser, Mokya, Superman, Partner at yung nickname mo na secret lang natin. Our beginning was unexpected but it was real. Everyone knows our story but we only know what the truth is. Masaya ako dahil nakilala kita. Ang daming naging blessings na kasama ka. Ang daming naging opportunities na kasama ka. Ang daming experiences na maaalala ko habang buhay. Pero bukod pa dun masaya ako sa journey natin. Madaming challenges na patuloy na sumusubok sa ating dalawa pero kasabay nun ang mga life lessons na natutunan ko dahil sayo. Through the ups and downs magkasama tayo partner. Kapit lang! You taught me how to live a happy life. And with that, I'm thankful that I get to live this crazy beautiful life with you.

To McLisse Fanmily, thank you for being a part of our journey. Salamat sa pagiging lakas namin lalo na sa mga panahong pili kaming pinahihina ng mundo. We found strength and happiness in you the same way you found strength and happiness with us. Sa mga laging kumakapit lang at di bumibitaw. Kayo ang inspirasyon namin na mas maging matatag. Simple smiles from you could get us through whatever life throws at us. We are so blesed to have you as our family. Happy anniversary to us!”

The princess and the prince had their first royal dance. Our eyes were focused on them but their eyes were the only magnets attracting each other. It was a magical moment for the both of them. We, the mere spectators felt like we were on cloud nine. The dream was beginning to shape into a classic Disney movie. No need for words. We just smiled and realized that 'this was what we came for.'

The prince surprised everyone. In our dream, we gathered around the royal couple and listened to what he had to say. He pulled out a sheet of paper from his pocket and started reading what was written on it.

Our hearts raced with his words. Yes, including his. But the prince's heart couldn't maintain its pace and we felt the same thing. We were shaking, we were clueless of what would happen next and we were completely surprised of how he opened his heart to everyone especially to the gorgeous princess in front of him. The prince expressed his gratefulness to a lot of people but he mentioned one important thing that stopped the clock from ticking for a few minutes------

“...Isang mensahe para sa taong tinuring ko ring pamilya. Sa sandaling panahon naging nanay ko rin siya. Salamat po. Tita, ngayon po nagpapaalam ako na bigyan mo po sana ng tiwala na tumayong lalaki na mag-aalaga sa anak niyo dahil laging mabuti ang hinahangad ko para sa kanya. Hashtag Princess ko – Isang taon mula ngayon nung nakatingin ako sayo. Di ko akalain na pagkatapos ng tingin na iyon, ikaw ay magiging mahalaga saakin. Bawat blesings na dumarating at sabay nating tanggapin. Nabuo man, kung ano man meron sa atin. Ayan, nagkaroon ng kulitan, (..actually maraming kulitan yan, panay kulitan yan) kasi ayan lang nasa phone ko na di niyo pa nakikita (shows slideshow of pics) Ginawa ko 'to para sa inyo, ayan itsura ko. Nagkaroon ng saya sa kulitan at natural na kilig, kasama na rin ang mga yakap tuwing may kalungkutan. Kaya salamat. Gusto ko lang magpasalamat sayo at share ko lang sa lahat.”

How could a dream be this good? The magical moments found their reflections in our eyes. We saw, felt and heard everything as if they were real. This 3D experience was one for the books. Everything felt real. Again, we asked “How could a dream be this good?”

Fireworks

Everyone was asked to go outside. We all did but as we walked, we also started asking a lot of whats and whys. No one knew of the reason why we suddenly had to go out. The dark blanket above us called our attention as fireworks began its show. THERE WAS A FIREWORKS DISPLAY AND EVEN THE PRINCESS AND PRINCE HAD NO IDEA THAT THIS WOULD HAPPEN.

Everyone was looking up and smiling with our eyes full of hope. Even “feelings” couldn't explain themselves. Our feelings just went up there with the fireworks, freely flying, exploding and sparkling. In our dream, the fireworks made the prince and his princess flash a smile no one in this world could erase. It did the same thing to us, happiness was written all over our faces. We couldn't believe that we were with the royal couple as we watched the fireworks partying in the sky. The dream was close to a new year's welcome. We found ourselves happily welcoming a new chapter-- a new year with a lot of things to look forward to.

AND THEN, WE WOKE UP.....and realized that what we thought of as a “dream” was actually REAL. 

Totoo talaga yun diba? Diba? Totoo yun bes, totoong-totoo.........TOTOO SIYA.

The prince was actually... McCoy and the princess was...Elisse.

The flashbacks were “real” and THEY. REALLY. HAPPENED. They reminded us of all the sleepless nights replaying the latest PBB episodes, trending taglines-- pushing for McLisse to continue here in the outside world, playing O Pag-ibig on repeat, dancing to “This is What You Came For”, eating burgers with “Tuloy Pa Rin” in the background and patiently waiting for their next guestings/projects. The roller coaster ride? We really got butterflies in our tummies because the ups and downs really existed. The past year introduced us to what would be the "greatest ride of our lives." The 3D world? We really witnessed how McCoy fearlessly read his personal message to all of us. The tears were real too. He cried. She cried. We all cried.

Good dreams make us want to stay in bed and dream longer, better dreams are the ones that inspire us to have a goal and best dreams are the ones that we share with the people we love which involve a plan. They're the ones that have a higher chance of ending up into something concrete. The ones that will not encourage us to sleep more but to get up early and work.

McLisse fanmily just started with “best dreams” that we had collectively dreamt of. Now, the whole fanmily is sharing it to other people through charity events and making other people dream bigger.

The Royal gathering reminded us that we should continue what we have started. It reminded us that we're stronger than what we think and that we truly found a new family through MCLISSE. The AVPs just proved to us that we're all in this together. Their story continues because everyone has always been there for them. Their family, friends, PBB housemates (lol @ MayWardCo for their fun greeting), co-actors and of course, US--- the people who are willing to fight for them at all times.

The BEST “Hindi lang” LOVETEAM award will always go to our favorite partners-- McCoy and Elisse. Nagtagpo ang mga buhay ninyo at ganun din ang mga buhay ng lahat na parte ng fanmily na 'to..

We fell in love with McLisse first but after seeing all their happy smiles and happy tears last Saturday night, we're very much sure that they've also fallen in love even more with us now. Head over heels. Diba mam? Diba ser? Forever OTP: McLisse x Fanmily. How does it feel like having an otp that reciprocates your love without any drama? Ask any McLisse fan and tears will fall first even before he/she can come up with an answer. McLisse, thank you for being so sincere and genuine to all of us. We really felt your appreciation, gratefulness and love in all of your words, in your warm hugs and in your smiles.

HAPPY 1ST ANNIVERSARY MCLISSE FANMILY!!! Last Saturday, we just turned the venue into a happiest place on earth because of our unforgettable-ginalingan masyado-walang magmu-move-on kind of celebration. Yung dating dream lang natin, nagkatotoo na and it's because we didn't let it stay as a dream, we worked hard to make it happen! Waaaaaaaaah. No one will move on from this. *imaginary fireworks* CHEERS FAM!

We've got somewhere we belong. They've got somebody to love...This is what dreams are made of! :)

A week has passed since our dreamy anniversary celebration but can you believe that our glasses are still full? Looks like everyone is still on celebratory mode and still couldn't get over the “aaaayys!” “oxygen!!!!” and “OMGs” of the crowd from last Saturday! Can we let it all sink in now?

#IAGY: I Always Got You

Their happiness is our our happiness.  As you all know, we're still busy replaying the breathtaking clips and saving the lovely anniversary photos. Did we actually save them or did the photos save us? Setting your eyes at the frozen moments captured with a camera is as good as seeing the real thing. Thank God for HD pics for they also bring out our HD feels.

The afterparty led us to more posts. Posts that deserve all the likes and favorites in the world. The feels didn't fade at all. Mas tumindi pa po. Paano!? It's amazing how a word with 3 letters could create 172082090 interpretations in our heads and man, it appears that the word “YOU” weighs heavier than we think. 

Only Lablab knows the real deal. Hmmm. You see, they're not each other maybes!

Katy Perry can pass the microphone to McLisse now. The One Who Got Away finally got away and paved way for.... The One Who Always Got You. #IAGY

So what's the use of occupying a whole bond paper with your thoughts if you can squeeze them into four words? The statement “I always got you” is stuffed with a lot certainties. It assures, comforts, gives hope and makes one feel safe. The endearment “Partner” was more than just a supporting detail. It was the strongest detail that made the message more impactful than what it intended to be. McCoy & Elisse gladly share their happiness to the world and it's no different from us. We're happy to have them in our lives and sharing our feels to the world has been our favorite task since day one.

#IAGY: It's A Good Year

We know it is. The flowers are finally blooming, bes. They didn't just pop out of the garden and grow themselves. Everyone worked hard to water them with love and prayers. They are always greeting us wholeheartedly, inspiring us to go on and plant for more.

Bashers will always have a lot to say but we will always have a lot to be thankful for. We're all getting a little too emotional these days but the real catch here is that through thick and thin we can proudly say that we always got one another in this fanmily. We're truly fine. There's no way we can go wrong with our Bossing and his LabLab leading us!

It's definitely a good year for us. We all now have the “chance” in our hands and we're not gonna let it slip away.

So, are you guys ready for the BIG day? Yoohoo! We all should be! The day we've all been waiting for is finally coming and people in this fanmily aren't really experts when it comes to hiding the excitement for big ganaps like a grand anniversary celebration. Before we get off of our carriages and set our eyes to the royal dance, here are some tips that will help us on how to keep our glass slippers intact as we run for longevity!

1. Wear your crown! Let your positive train of thought become your own crowning glory. Beshies, we finally made it to our first anniversary and we all know that there'll be a lot of things to accomplish in the future as we jump to the next chapter of our story. Keep in mind that having a positive train of thought will make you a happier person. Don't let negativity engulf you! Promise yourself that as we transition to our second year as a fanmily, you'll also turn positive thinking into a habit. Yep, confidently fangirling with a heart!

2. Respect your highness! RESPECT. A seven-letter word that deserves a million recognition. Always be respectful in everything you post online. You represent your fandom. You wear an invisible badge that is not so invisible in a virtual world. The ones (up there! yes the ones who have control in the industry) deserve respect at all times. The new chapter isn't exactly promising us of kilig moments or kireee scenes everyday but the good news is, we can always save ourselves and save our day. The past 10 months had been a little inTENse but it's the TENder moments that made our journey more special. We know for a fact that things don't always happen the way we intend them to be but we are thankful for the things life offer us especially to the ones that intend to change us for the better, sometimes even for the best. We had our obstacles, you also had yours but in the end, we still survived and said “Tuloy pa rin!” To the most promising loveteam or “Team Love” as we call it, allow us to be a little cheesy or emo for at least a few minutes through this post addressed to YOU.
