First Kiss

Summary: In a game of truth or drink Steve gets a secrets revealed that he had never told anyone
The team was all currently gathered in Steve’s living room sharing a drink. Kono had suggested playing truth or drink after she poured herself a new drink and the others in the room agreed. She decided she would go first and ask Danny a question and she grinned when she thought of a question.
“Okay Danny um- let’s see... have you ever slept with someone of the same gender?” she asked as Danny raised his brow, while Steve turnt to his friend and Chin laughed into his drink
“Yes, I have slept with multiple people of the same gender.” Danny said casually causing Steve to choke on his drink “That bother you Mcgarrett?” Danny said as he laughed while Steve shook his head.
Seeing as it was now Danny’s turn to ask someone a question and smirked as he thought of a question to ask Steve “Steve how many people have you slept with?” Danny asked expecting Steve to say a decently high number but instead Steve took a shot, the other three in the room letting out a small collective gasp.
“Come on boss you can’t leave us hanging like that” Kono said while she was laughing “Nope, the whole point of the game is that if I don’t want to answer a question all I have to do is take a shot and I don’t want to answer the question” Steve said.
The game had gone on for a couple hours after that question and they were all pretty tipsy with the exception of Kono who had answered every question they had asked her.
“All right, I’m tired after the week we had and I need to get Chin home. I’ll see you guys on Monday” Kono said, leading her cousin out and waving goodbye leaving Steve and Danny in the house.
“So Mcgarret is your body count so high it’s embarrassing” Danny said playfully smiling when he saw his friends cheeks fill with color
“Danny it’s none of your business how many people I’ve slept with now drop it” Steve said as he walked out of the room.
Danny, decided he wasn’t finished with the conversation just yet, got out of his seat and followed Steve
“You can't get rid of me that easily. Come on babe I’ll tell you mine if you tell me yours” Danny said as he backed Steve upped into a corner in the hallway.
“You really want me to tell you” Steve said anxiously getting flustered by Danny being this close
“Of course I want you to tell me babe” Danny said into Steve’s ear after he got a surge of confidence Steve had to stop himself reaching out and grabbing Danny “If you really want to know I’m a virgin” Steve said causing Danny took a step back, shock written on his face.
“You’ve never slept with anyone?” Danny said “No I haven’t and I know that is a big turn off so just go ahead and leave” Steve sadly
“Babe you being a virgin doesn’t turn me off, in fact it makes me want you even more than I already do” Danny said as he kissed Steve.
Steve was not expecting to hear what Danny said and he certainly wasn’t expecting Danny to kiss him. When Danny pulled away Steve was shocked and he didn't know kissing could feel as amazing as that kiss did.
Danny couldn’t believe how good it finally felt to kiss Steve after wanting to for months “so was that a good kiss?” Danny asked. “Well I’ve never been kissed before but it felt super amazing” Steve said not thinking about what he was saying he was super out of it from that kiss.
“Wait, that was your first kiss?” Danny asked even more surprised then he already was “wait I said that out loud” Steve said anxiously having not meant to tell Danny that he had never been kissed before.
“Babe I’m sorry if I would have known that was your first kiss I would have made it more special” Danny said feeling bad that Steve’s first kiss was in a corner of his hallway. “Danny that was an amazing first kiss” Steve said as he leaned in and kissed Danny again.
They stayed in the hallway for about an hour when they finally made it the bedroom where they both ended up passing out from exhaustion. The next morning Danny woke up and decided to make Steve breakfast and when he was done Steve was still sleeping so Danny decided to wake Steve up.
Steve woke up to Danny kissing his back “mmm why are you being so sweet?” Steve said tiredly. “Well I woke up and wanted to make you breakfast and just be sweet to you all day” Danny said as he continued to kiss Steve’s back then eventually they ate breakfast and were just snuggling in bed.
“I have a question” Danny said “shoot” Steve told Danny “how did your navy friends call you smooth dog if you had never even kissed someone?” Danny asked.
“Well see here is the thing being gay in the military was a big no no and they would always try to get me to go get girls numbers and I wasn’t ever interested because I was gay but they started questioning why I never hooked up with anyone so I decided I would go up to women and act like I was flirting with the women when really all I was doing was telling the girls I was gay but nobody knew and they would come up to my hotel room and we would just talk but all the guys thought I was hooking up with those girls” Steve explained.
Danny laughed “so you were a con artist” Danny said as he was laughing “no I just had to hide the truth you jerk” Steve said as he hit Danny with a pillow “oh you wanna play it like that?’ Danny asked as he tackled Steve on the bed and they spent the whole day bonding and cuddling.
