The National Stadium With a dome of 312 meters in diameter, the National Stadium currently holds the record of the largest dome structure in the world and the configurable seating on the lowest spectator tier to make it the only stadium in the world that is custom-designed to host different sporting events at any given time. Depending on its configurations, the stadium has a maximum seating capacity of 55,000. The only stadium in the world is able to accommodate events from football, rugby, cricket, athletics, concerts, cultural shows, and community events at any time of the year. The National Stadium has an innovative bowl cooling system, where cool air of 23 degrees is pumped from underneath all seats, using less than 15% of the energy required for similar conventional air-conditioned stadiums. The roof is made of cutting-edge weather-resistant material that blocks out the sun’s heat as well as the rain and it's also partially powered by solar panels, making it even more environmentally-friendly.
