“Hey,” roughly rubbing a towel through his hair, daichi glanced over towards the one in the kitchen. “Baek, you wanna do the song we were talking about the other day? the duet?”  he’d taken into account that baek would be a better fit for the rap line. “va¡’ll most likely be down for just about anyone from our group doing it.”  not wanting anyone to know who just she was yet. knowing that kaylee would most likely kick his ass seeing as sunmi didn’t want just anyone knowing of her dip into production.

❛ ❪ ❂    happy new year, i’m a fox! yeah, that wasn’t a wise way to start a conversation. but amazingly, it was one of the options that had run through taekyung’s head as he headed to the shelter to see jiwoo. this was the very last of his free time before debut preparation started. they’d be recording tomorrow, filming the video not to long after, filming tv spots -- inkigayo, countdown, music bank...he had a million blessings to count, but his heart was still hurting and his head along with it as he tried to figure out how to be honest with jiwoo about all the things he’d hidden from her thus far. vivi wriggled in his arms as he entered the back area where he knew she’d be, and the moment his girlfriend came into view, vivi let out a loud yip, clearly wanting to see her, “aish -- okay, go ahead, say hi...” he laughed a little and let her on the ground to bound over to her former caretaker, “hi, jiwoo...”

creeping up on her boyfriend, the rabbit fae smiled softly to herself before attempting to jump on his back. not caring that anyone could see. “Happy New Years lover boy~” she whispered in his ear.

❛ ❪ ❂      thanks to her father directing the video, holly was permitted onto the set of d:fi’s music video under the guise of being an intern. seeing the group so much younger wasn’t as odd as holly thought it would be. and ironically, quite a few of them didn’t look THAT different from their older counterparts in her time. tasked with handing out water bottles in between two takes, holly made a point of visiting everyone before she finally made her way up to hanuel. smiling, attempting to be as brave as she could, she said, “hi. holly the water girl here! they asked me to bring this to you.”  she extended the water bottle out to him, “ you’re probably really tired from dancing so hard. the steps for this song are amazing. i think it’ll go over really well. i hope you’re all really proud of yourselves.”

“Baek?” he’d look throughout the apartment and hadn’t seen the sprint of sunshine anywhere. even looked at his secret place, yet wasn’t there. so here daichi was wondering into one of the dance studios at the company. something, he rarely did. a piece of paper still clenched between his fingers. thinking if he let it go at any point that it wasn’t real at all. 

❛ ❪ ❂       “lacey’s laying down. i told her we’d finish cleaning up.” nari stepped out of the master bedroom and shut the door behind her before returning to the living room and settling on the couch, from which she could see minjoon shuffling around the kitchen, “ -- you look ready to drop, minjoon.”

“Should I admit that I have a fair amount of experience with people biting me?” Mingyu tilted his head a bit. “But other than that, I don’t know. People bite people all the time without having really solid reasons, if you ask me.”
