* lines pertaining to Haruka and NOT KONOHA, obviously, but we didn’t know this at the time because it hadn’t been written by Jin yet.

Like, tbh, I’m tired of debating this, you guys. The canonical text tells you RIGHT THERE he’s immortal, the 2nd manga route told you MORE THAN ONCE that he’s immortal. The least this fandom could do is acknowledge it if you want to even attempt to understand the timelines and this series that you complain about so much.
