In the beginning there is some stuff about when May worked at Tittenhurst. In New York when she became their PA John took an office right opposite May’s to get closer to her. Yoko basically forced May to go out with John and she refused multiple times until he ended up at her door and made her let him come upstairs and the two talked about what was happening and made love after which May panicked and told John to leave. After they first had sex John began writing “Surprise, Surprise sweet bird of Paradox”. During the recording of “Mind Games”  the two would rush back to May’s apartment to make love, each time getting closer and learning about each others backgrounds and sexual likes and dislikes. John learnt that May’s name in Chinese was “Fung Yee” to which he began to call her “My little Fung Yee” in private.  Yoko went to a women’s conference and left the two alone in New York (with permission to be together) and John insisted they stay at the Dakota. May insisted that they pull John and Yoko’s mattress into the lounge as she could not bare to sleep in their bedroom (understandable) that was her first and only night at the Dakota. IT WAS JOHN’S IDEA TO GO TO LA. NOT YOKOS. JOHN NEVER GOT KICKED OUT. He and May then flew to LA to be alone together and began living together in other celebrities houses. After John promoted “Mind Games” he started working on “Rock N Roll” with Phil Spector. Thats when the drinking started. Yoko blamed May for every drunken rampage John went on, he smashed up Lou Addlers house and ripped of May’s necklace (given to her by her mother which she swore never to take off) and he stomped on it. He went for screaming rampages on sunset boulevard running around until Tony King came and hugged him, screaming how nobody loves him and he’s only wanted because of his money. In LA they hung out with many different celebrities including: Mick and Bianca Jagger, Elton John, David Bowie, Paul and Linda, George, Ringo, Keith Moon, Harry Neilsson, etc. A few times John would leave and not come home or send May back to New York screaming at her that “its over” but would call the next day and apologize saying he never wants her to leave again and when she returns he hugged her and kissed her and apologized endlessly. Most of the time he had just wanted to go out with another woman. Julian and Cynthia’s visits included Julian and John being very close and having fun at disney land and in the studio. He spoke to Cynthia a few times and they had nice conversations until she said to him “I always wanted another child” and when he asked with who she said “with you” and he became very uncomfortable and didn’t speak to her much after that. In LA May and John invited Arlene Jackson over, another assistant and friend of John and May and Yoko. She witnessed most of what went on in the book (and I wish she would confirm what happened!!!!!) but on Mays birthday John bought her an old car so they could drive themselves around. He also bought her a camera which he stomped on in a rage. For John’s birthday May bought him a musical instrument he wanted very much and had an engraving of “With all my love, May” on the back of it. Phil Spector wouldn’t give John and May the “Rock N Roll” tapes so John began to write “Walls and Bridges” this time moving back to New York to live in May’s apartment and record at the record plant. Yoko suggested they move as it “hurt her” to see them living that way. She offered an apartment at the Dakota but that idea was quickly ignored. John and May moved into an apartment on East 52nd Street .(This was at John’s request as May didn’t want to move because she was scared she would have no home if her and John broke up.)  We all know the Elton John deal where if “Whatever gets you thru the night” became a hit he would preform at Madison Square Garden with him, and he did. LIES about John and Yoko reuniting at the preformance are so untrue as John requested May stood on the side of the stage so he could see her and not be scared as he was nervous about preforming and was sick beforehand. Yoko and John did talk for a while but John left with May and Yoko called out to John but John ignored her and left her standing in the street.  They did go back to LA to help Elton John, David Bowie and Ringo on their albums. During this time was when he and May took acid, saw their names in triangles in the sky, made love to make them merge and took a walk on the beach in the moonlight. A very romantic experience. In New York Yoko had been having an affair with guitarist David Spinozza and was planning on divorcing John. John had told May this and they were in the middle of planning a future together which included Julian and a possible Beatles reunion. Until one day Yoko called May and said “I’m thinking of taking him back”. John constantly assures May he’s "not going back" to Yoko and whenever she called he would barley talk or even hang up on her. (Yoko called every morning and every night and at various times of the day and a lot of times too, absurd amounts , both in LA and NY). One day Yoko called and said she had found a way to stop smoking and was free of smoking. Every time John had set a time to go and receive the “cure” Yoko would call saying the stars weren’t right. Teasing John. Finally one time the stars were right and John went to the Dakota. He did not call, he did not come home. May called Yoko and asked where he was. Asleep, still sleeping, the cure is very draining were the replies each time. Finally May and John had made and appointment to go the dentist together (cute) when May emerged from the dentist John was there, he looked drained and sick and apparently much like after primal therapy.  He went into the dentist and when he came out May began walking home and he said “where are you going?” she said said “home…. aren’t you coming?”  he said “oh right” and they went back to their apartment on East 52nd street. He then said things like “It wasn’t intended to be” (not him and May but Him and Yoko getting back together) he said Yoko had "allowed" him to come home. So he packed some stuff, and she sat in a chair crying as he left.  Yoko then gave both him and May a vile of perfume stuff. When John returned to say goodbye to May properly he gave May her vile. Yoko instructed them to put it on eachother and they did. May’s smelt foul and John’s smelt lovely. May investigated and found out that John’s scent was designed to make him irresistible and May’s was something very very bad and was told “who ever gave you this must really hate you”.  When May asked John “What about the love we felt for eachother” John replied “I still love you, I love you very much” he then preceded  to tell her that Yoko had said he and May can still see eachother and Yoko can be the wife, May the mistress. John leaving May meant another thing, she was now broke. She couldn’t afford the apartment on east 52nd Street and her old apartment was already rented.  But then something happened nobody really knows about. John and May both went to visit a mutual friend in hospital. They saw eachother there for the first time in ages. They began to see eachother properly again and the friend Richard after he recovered let them use his hospital bed of all things. After Richard was discharged from hospital he would be the connection. He would call May and say “A friend called” and then John and May would meet at Richard’s house and make love. When Richard began to become jealous he wouldn’t tell May when John called. John then saw May at a club, told her to wait (excited to see her) and he came back but she had left. He then called and asked where she went and was upset. They continued to see eachother for a while. Until John’s 5 year retirement He came and told May that Yoko was pregnant, later he told her that Sean was beautiful. May predicted John would stop calling when Sean was born, she also predicted Sean would be born on the 9th of October. In both cases she was right, Untill the late 70’s John called but hung up, checking to see if May was married or if a man would answer the phone He then called and said it was him. He would say to May things like how he missed her and missed waking up with her and being with her and he wanted it to be like it was.  Later Yoko sent him on one of his little trips, he ended up in South Africa. He called May then and said he kept her number secretly without Yoko’s knowledge, In his private little book. He said he missed her dearly and sent some postcards to her, ones that fans sent him. May had asked John “Do you want to record?” and John said "Ofcourse I do, I never wanted to stop making music". The last conversation he and her had was about reuniting. John had said if he started recording again then he would call her. He said "I’ll call. I promise you I’ll call." Thoes we’re the last words he said to her as it was their last conversation. It lasted an hour and a half. When December 1980 occurred May heard on the radio “a man believed to be John Lennon has been shot” she immediately panicked and called everyone too see what was happening.  Then the newscaster announced"The person who was shot on the Upper West Side was John Lennon. John Lennon is dead."  She began to scream at the top of her lungs, she was dead numb. Coco ( David Bowie’s secretary) called and told her to come over and David Bowie sat there crying and hugging and reminiscing about John. That’s a basic idea of what the book tells us, if you want to know anything in more detail ask. But I believe John loved May and May loved John.  Peace And Love  John Lennon 1940 - 1980
