Red grass in Wamena. Every region anywhere has a phenomenon and make the aikon and the characteristics of the area. For Jayawijaya Regency, better known as Wamena or Balliem valley, is unique in May. Among other uniqueness, this time Wamena known to the May Grass, or red grass. Red grass is not treated or made by humans, but this grass grows in the wild. Almost half of Baliem city is filled with Red grass. There are several spots that can be visited to do photos and More. What I have been doing this semester. Phalaris (maygrass) seeds under a microscope. Apologies for blur, the scope isn't actually set up for a camera so I just did my best to get a shot lined up through the eyepiece!
