Who brings up going camping in the first place: Evan. It’s one of his favorite things to do and he wants to share it with Riley.
Who packs too many “just in case” items: Riley. Evan has too much experience and knows exactly what to bring.
Who accidentally gets them lost while exploring: Riley. She decides she wants to see something and Evan is too distracted watching her be so excited to pay attention to where they’re going.
Who pitches the tent: Evan. Riley tried to help, but it didn’t work.
Who catches the biggest fish in the nearby lake: Riley, with Evan’s help. He says it’s beginnings luck.
Who gets sick from eating too many S’mores: both of them. Evan never lurks.
Who builds the camp fire: Evan, he knows what he’s doing and it amazed Riley how easily he did it.
Who initiates the camp fire songs: Riley, much to Evan’s chagrin.
Who complains about not having cell service: Riley, she wants to text Maya about everything that’s happening and he’s trying to get her to be in the moment.
Who swears they ‘just heard something’ at 1 AM: Riley. She woke Evan in a start, freaking out and thinking there’s a bear.
Do they camp in style (air mattress, portable electronics etc) or rough it: Rough it. He wants Riley to have the actual camping experience.
