This video appeared on my feed on Sunday, within the first few videos. I haven’t watched Markiplier in years, so how/why this came up, I’ll never know. Taking it as a sign.

ויסדו הבנים את־היכל יהוה ויעמידו הכהנים מלבשים בחצצרות והלוים בני־אסף במצלתים להלל את־יהוה על־ידי דויד מלך־ישראל

When the builders had laid the foundation of the Temple of the LORD, priests in their vestments with trumpets, and Levites sons of Asaph with cymbals were stationed to give praise to the LORD, as King David of Israel had ordained.

ויענו בהלל ובהודת ליהוה כי טוב כי־לעולם חסדו על־ישראל וכל־העם הריעו תרועה גדולה בהלל ליהוה על הוסד בית־יהוה

They sang songs extolling and praising the LORD, “For He is good, His steadfast love for Israel is eternal.” All the people raised a great shout extolling the LORD because the foundation of the House of the LORD had been laid.

ורבים מהכהנים והלוים וראשי האבות הזקנים אשר ראו את־הבית הראשון ביסדו זה הבית בעיניהם בכים בקול גדול ורבים בתרועה בשמחה להרים קול

Many of the priests and Levites and the chiefs of the clans, the old men who had seen the first house, wept loudly at the sight of the founding of this house. Many others shouted joyously at the top of their voices.

ואין העם מכירים קול תרועת השמחה לקול בכי העם כי העם מריעים תרועה גדולה והקול נשמע עד־למרחוק {פ}
