Dr. Stone Headcanons

Warning: Includes some shipping, a mention of a serious mental health topic and a suggestive implication (if you squint; mostly for the giggles tho, nothing actually sus is mentioned)
Senku:
• Instead of the iconic anime hairstyle, I see him more as a dreadlocks kind of guy
• Demi-aroace and gay (I'm mainly a sengen shipper so... senkus heart is built for only one person, everrr 👀)
• Before petrification he thought he was not one for romance, but then he saw gen on the TV one day, and all heck broke lose
• Before petrification he had a secret stash of teenage magazines, specifically with gens pictures, Yuzuriha once found one and genuinely though there was ice cream spilled in one, she threw it out and never spoke of it - until finding out the truth during the treasure island arc (imagine the mortification lmao)
• He was raised by Byakuya to be a good man and a gentleman
• He took suika in as soon as he met her, allowed her to live in the observatory, fed her, clothed her, ensured her education; but despite that, he only adopted her officially shortly before the journey to Americas because he didn't feel old enough for the responsibility earlier - he doesn't regret his decision
Gen:
• Collects medical oddities like pokemon: Poliosis, situs inversus, intersex, maybe some others while at it
• Was assigned male at birth
• The boy with two adults we once saw in a flashback were his adopted brother and his actual parents
• His parents gave up on him after doctors refused to "make him a real boy", and gave him up for adoption
• He grew up in the system and was never truly fostered or adopted
• He has severe depression, but after meeting senku he's been getting much better and healthier
• This is probably a more personal "fun" hc - he can get pregnant
• Bigender and uses mainly he/him pronouns, but doesn't mind she/her
• When he marries Senku, he agrees to becoming the "queen" of the Ishigami village
• Minored in biology at University
• Has basic obstetrics training
Ryusui
• Sleeps around (often not even for anything other than sleeping lmao)
• Has swam in the ocean a few times, several of those - a day long swim
• Absolutely teases Senku and Gen whenever he *overhears* the two
• Always saw him as someone who would prefer polyamory, so... Ukyo, maybe Francois
• Is the main stand-in doctor for when Senku isn't available due to maritime training
Francois:
• Redhead ftw!
• They lost their curls at the beginning, Senku reinvented a hair curler and hairspray for them before the new world arc.
• Too dedicated to their work for much else, relaxes only for bedtime and sleeping
• Cannot stand bugs and hair in food, becomes a literal forensic investigator to find out whos hair entered the food and makes them wash the kitchen floor twice over for it, they don't care (they only let up somewhat in Very specific cases)
