In my head they'd have the most casual, no strings attached, no obligations, no expectations, friends with benefits sort of relationship. Maya and Damian understand each other entirely, down to their cores, but they also understand that they'd not be the best to each other in a true dating relationship. Of course, there's the understanding that maybe that's just their own self-perception and internal doubts, but why ruin a good thing?
