As Sam saw the friendly figure witch seemed familiar as well, he rushed to him to reunite once again!  ”LITTLE BUDDY! I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!” He said after giving he a warm big hug,  

"I need help! this creatures are trying to get me!"  he said alert pointing with he’s weapon at what the rampaging weird creatures that were after he.  "Im sure happy to see you Max but i need a little help here!"

X calms down the Kuramons, who are now hiding behind her, as Max rushes towards the approaching dog.  The AI was about to tell the Lagomorph to be careful but stops herself when she spots the two hug each other.

She was about to walk over and ask the rabbit if this new…’person’ was from his world, but stops dead in her tracks once Sam points his gun in her direction.  Almost immediately the AI raises her arms up in hopes of showing that she was no threat.  “Whoa there!”  She exclaims as the two Kuramons continue to cower behind her.  “I am no enemy, good er- Sir.”  She was very tempted to say good dog, but decides against it, not wanting to potentially offend him. 

Keeping her arms up still, X gestures to Max. “I assume you’re friends with my new acquaintance here?”  He must have came through the portal they had just detected.

Max went ahead and jumped onto Sam’s back as to show that he’s glad he made it to where he’s at. “Wait until you see who I met, Sam! This chick has a strange man in her base!”

The excited Lagomorph jumped down to introduce X to his best pal. He laughed as he sees X putting her arms up as if she’s going to get shot. “Of course he’s my pal. Together, we’re the Freelance police, and nothing gets in our way!”

The tall dog  put away he’s weapon “Oh sorry, i didn’t know you were friendly, all this monsters seem to be  in the evil side” as he listens to Max, he says “That’s right, Sam and Max, freelance police!  we are highly untrained professionals!”  the tall dog, removes he’s hat as a “hello”, proper of a gentleman.  ”So i have to ask, where are we?, miss…?”

When Max jumps onto her, X almost topples over, but manages to stay standing up.  The Kuramons float up and stare at the Lagomorph as their tamer laughs as she lowers her arms.  “Your reaction was reasonable sir.  But I assure you that all of the digital monsters in this sector are friendly, despite appearances, and will not attack you unless provoked.”  She turns her gaze to Max with a grin, “I’m sure you’ll see a lot of other stranger beings than Amir in my base.”

One of the Kuramon sets itself on Max’s head as he and Sam tell her about themselves.  “Freelance police…Like Deputymon?”  The AI was confused at the highly untrained professionals part, but hey, if they’re professionals they must be good at what they do.  She turns her attention back to Sam as he questions her.  “You two are in the digital world, brought here through a defect in our Gate system.  Ah, I forgot to introduce myself, my name is X.”

"Ho ho ho, this place gives me the butterflies! So much to explore, and so much to look out for!" Max’s ears flop a bit down a bit as a Kuramon sets itself on top of his head. He cackled a bit as it’s small legs tickled the tiny bristles of fur on his head.

Meanwhile back with X, Amir, and Max. 

"You’re in the digital world." Answers X.  "Mmm, I’m not to sure how become president here would work seeing how we’re kinda in the middle of a war at the moment." She continues.  ‘If toy town was still around I’m sure they’d love this guy as a president, heh.’ The thought was amusing, but she had to get back to the point. 

"By the way, another gate was detected opening not to far off.  Actually, its just right outside of the base.  Want to come with me to check it out?"  She asks, figuring she could give Amir some time to himself to sort things out without any distractions.  "It seems to have had the same reading as the portal you came through, so it might be a way back to your world."  Hopefully that’s the case, and it doesn’t bring anyone else in this area.

Max was just about to tug on Amir’s cape thing just as X told him where he landed. With a gentle grab, Max grabbed ahold of Amir’s wing and gave it a curious tug. “Is this thing real? Oh yeah, if this is the digital world, have I been digitized into teeny tiny bits of internet stuff?”

Sam would most definatly love this kind of world. If only if he was here, then they would be involved in crazy types of adventures filled with unknown creatures. As X invites him over for a portal investigation, he lighted up with excitement. “Well duh! Get me out of here before I purposely poke all of these buttons at the same time.”

Feeling the unexpected tug on his wing Amir lets out a startled yelp and turns around to see Max.  Lifting them up and out of the rabbit’s reach he grumbles as he answers him, “Yes, they are indeed real if your talking about myself or my wings.”  Amir gives X a look as she laughs at Max’s action.

"Yes, and at the same time no.  You are still a being of bio material, but in this world you have some data tied along with it.  I believe it would be rather time consuming if I were to explain it to you in further detail. " Replied the Wisemon.  He’s relieved that Max turned his attention back to X.  The digimon also turns his attention to his tamer at the rabbit’s next comment.  "Please take him with you."

Letting out yet another laugh, X gestures for Max to follow her. “Come on, the exit’s this way.” The girl walks over to an elevator and the doors slide open.  Entering, she waits for him to join her before doing anything else.

While X and Max were still at the base, the portal that Sam jumped through drops him right off on the metallic ground of the Machine Empire sector.   The glowing circle of light behind him then disappears in a blink of an eye. 

Two jellyfish like creatures floating high in the sky spot the dog being deposited into this world and quickly make their way to the base to tell their commander.

"Holly..!  Where i am??" he looks around noticing the portal is there no more,  Metal structures were all around.  "Perhaps this is where Max went..?" he tough.  He didn’t know where to start searching, he couldn’t help but to yell for Max, but no reply.  "Well this.. place is really different. Perhaps i should explore around and find any clue that leads me to Max! Also to know where the heckles i am."

Max went along and went by X’s side. He was thinking about how many creatures and wonders he would come across.

"Say, how many dangerous creatures live here? If there are any, of course. I’d like to see them in action!" The Lagomorph anxiously waits for X’s next move.

Sam saw a metallic building, he didn’t know what was waiting for he inside, it seemed like some kind of hide-out? “I think i heard steps around here.. maybe it’s Max! “he thinks”  he didn’t know but he somehow triggered some alarm somehow, it was very loud. “Woah!” 

He saw strange creatures coming after he! what were they?? he just pulled he’s gun out and started to shoot anyways, but it didn’t seem very effective. “Oh darn, now what! Max help me!”

As they ride the elevator to the entrance X grins at the Lagomorph’s question.  “Well, here in my sectors their aren’t that many digimon’s looking to pick a fight.  Of course the nightmare soldiers are rather…rambunctious.  Other than that, I’d say any other digimon in the other armies would be dangerous.  So- I’m rambling, sorry about that.”  The girl shrugs. “Let’s just say that their is a lot of dangerous ‘creatures’ and leave it at that.”

The elevator comes to the stop and the doors open up this time to the outside of the base.  As X walks out she pulls something out of her jacket, a strange looking mask, and puts it on her face. “Now lets look for that portal-“  She gets cut off by a jellyfish like creature colliding with her head.

X’s grunts as the little creature is squeaking in panic, obviously trying to tell her something.  Gunshots can be heard going off not to far off from the entrance of the fortress as well, and it looks like another Kuramon is rushing over to the AI and the rabbit, screeching like crazy….What was that thing over in the distance?  It looks like it was coming towards them too.  Is that…a dog?

The smile on the Lagomorph seemed to get wider as X tells him that it is indeed a dangerous world out there. He definately cannot wait until all the exciting thrills await the poor soul. But, he cannot help but think that this is going to be a lesser exciting journey without a certain best pal.

"These Nightmare Soldiers sound like a lot of fun fighting against." Max exclaimed, as the elevator opens back up to reveal a world that sort of struck familiar into his heart. He somehow felt as if he been here before, but at a different location. His eyes and smile widens as gunshots are heard, and a small jellyfish like thing has mumbled something to X as if it’s scared.

"Well, here I am in one of the timelines in which Sam and Max, Freelance Police, exist," Mugen said to himself as he stepped out of the Wan Room and into an alleyway.

Stepping out of the alleyway, he found himself in Sam and Max's version of New York City, at Straight and Narrow.

The thing is, I may have booby-trapped my entire office, in case some thug tries to break in and give me what's for.

I'm going to need someone with a sense of self-preservation significantly less strong than mine to change the lightbulb for me.
