Artist in Profile: Jenny Cronin
In Jennifer Cronin's work everything is created and sculpted by hand, photographed, and then displayed to reveal its construction. Having a great appreciation for dioramas, she utilizes the medium, and also references the sculpture itself. As the age of the museological diorama nears extinction, Jennifer acknowledges this romantic craft and calls into question various representations of truth and authenticity.
Jennifer completed a B.A. in Geography from the University of Victoria and is currently finishing her B.F.A. in Photography at Ryerson University.
