Your not so favourite irreverent muso is back on the air and the big surprise this time around is that he is joined by a co-host. Introducing the self confessed face-for-radio (really not true), banter fireball, louty undergrad: Caspar Waters.

Regular listeners may remember he co-hosted the Brits edition of GWR last academic year. We are now joining forces to cram, if anything, too much entertainment into your Thursday nights. So set your VCR or whatever you crazy cats are using these days for recording TV or go on iPlayer later as we need your live listenership. (As much as I will try, I cannot guarantee the listen again function on Mixcloud this year). We are fully interactive this year too with live messages to the studio through the listening module. This is your show too!

Gym Class Heroes ft Adam Levine - Stereo Hearts

This video means so much to so many people it is hard to explain. If you know and love Pink Floyd as I do or are at least aware of the animosity, you know how big a deal this is. An incredible performance too.

I was SO desperate to go to a gig on this tour - especially after seeing the DSOTM tour twice (once including Nick Mason!) but university exams proved my enemy yet again.

I hope this footage and the new Pink Floyd channel it comes on is indicative of a DVD after they screwed up the Is There Anybody Out There? tour recording in '86. I am also actually hoping it comes around again next year as DSOTM did.

Odd thing to post about you may think but I am pointing this out because otherwise it would go un-noticed that for 2 weeks now he has been, very deservingly, in the top 5. If you have not yet heard it try it on Spotify or just go buy it. It is top quality classic New Orleans blues covers excellently executed.

He entered at number 2 behind (and above) Adele (so that is basically a number one album if it weren't for poor timing) and has only fallen to 4. Kate Bush replaced him. To put this in context he has sold more last week than Jessie J, Foo Fighters, Bruno Mars and Friendly Fires!
