Mawu photos because he's underated
Some Hc lore I have,,,
In patapon tribes only the shaman patapons can birth Hatapons. Hatapons are to be protected at all cost and never to battle because they are the heir to the shaman and without a shaman they have no connection to their God/Almighty.
Hatapons CAN go into battles to motivate the warriors but they are oredered by the shaman to protect the Hatapon. Especially tatepons.
My hc name for the Hatapon in game is "Mawu".
Here are some pics of my design of him as a baby, child and a teen. (When patapons reach puberty they gain a body, this hc was carried on from my Venusian hc)
(He wears the flag as a cape to resemble his mother and the formal shaman look)
Bonus:
Taiko! (OC) (She/her)
After the union of Zigotons and Patapons mixed families formed.
Which meant that hybrid children were born.
Hence Taiko, a Patapon and a Zigoton hybrid. A "Zigopon"
This little guy's design changed over time but I am kinda happy with how they are rn!
Unicorns in this world are a bit different than usually seen in fiction, they're based in both horses and the kind of horned rabbit that always appears in fiction, especially Mangas and novels
This widdle guy ^^^
They're always just discarded as beginner monsters, but something this cute honestly deserves better ajskdkd
Patterns of worship follow various dialects, spirits, practices, songs, and rituals. The divine Creator, called variously Mawu or Mahu, is a female being. She is an elder woman, and usually a mother who is gentle and forgiving. She is also seen as the god who owns all other spirits and even if there is no temple made in her name, the people continue to pray to her, especially in times of distress. In one tradition, she bore seven children. Sakpata: Vodun of the Earth, Xêvioso (or Xêbioso): Vodun of Thunder, also associated with Divine Justice, Agbe: Vodun of the Sea, Gû: Vodun of Iron and War, Agê: Vodun of Agriculture and Forests, Jo: Vodun of Air, and Lêgba: Vodun of the Unpredictable
The Creator embodies a dual cosmogonic principle of which Mawu the moon and Lisa the sun are respectively the female and male aspects, often portrayed as the twin children of the Creator. Lisa is the sun spirit who brings the day and the heat, and also strength and energy. Mawu, the moon spirit, provides the cool of the night, peace, fertility, and rain. To give this in a summed aspect, a proverb says ‘When Lisa punishes Mawu forgives

That Night
—————————————-—————————————
The flutter of her eyes blinked open as the moon goddess tried to blink away the milky film that coated her vision.
Throbbing pain from the side of her head, made her hiss in pain and her hand on the place where the pain was coming from. The bandage on the side of her head made Mawu frown in confusion.
Her eyes cleared up and she looked around to an unfamiliar room and the smell of medicinal herbs confirmed where she was. She looked down to see she was still in her dress from the party last night.
“The med bay? How did I get here?” She questioned and moved her body to stand from the cot she was on.
The dizziness hit her like a truck and she quickly grabbed the wall to support her slumped body. Her hand returns to her head and she took a couple of deep breaths to make the dizziness stop.
“My lady, you must get back in bed!” A voice shrilled for her left and Mawu felt a headache coming on.
Her arm was quickly grabbed and found herself being pulled back to the cot. Mawu strained her eyes to see who was helping her. The short stout woman in front of her raised her hand over Mawu’s head and glowed a soft orange color.
A buzzing feeling vibrated on Mawu’s head as she felt the throbbing feeling begin to fade, she sighs from the sensation and moves her head to ensure that the feeling never left.
“You took a terrible fall your highness,” the woman began as she started working on removing the old bloodied bandage and replacing it with a new one.
“I...fell?” Mawu asked.
“Oh, yes! The men you were with in the stables said that you were trying to tame a demon unicorn. It reared back and you moved back to avoid its hooves. You tripped and ended up hitting your head on a salt lick.” She explains as she wrapped the last piece of tape around her temple.
That didn’t sound right, thought Mawu. She could have sworn that she was able to calm the unicorn down until it allowed her closer to it and the unicorn became agitated again.
“Where is the horse now?” She asked the woman who gaped at her in shock.
“My lady, Prince Loki had ordered the beast be taken away. I heard from someone who worked in the stables that it was to be taken to the Ulik.” She tells her and Mawu’s eyes widened in disbelief.
“The Asgardian goblins?! All they are going to do is make him their next meal!” She told the woman and rushed past her.
Mawu is quick to leave the medical clinic and stumbles her way to where the stables were, the physician following after her.
“My Lady, you mustn’t! You’ll only further injury yourself!” She yells to Mawu who ignores her words.
‘Loki, if Gbekele is put in harms way, I’ll murder you myself.” Mawu thought angrily.
The sound of familiar neighing made Mawu turn to a balcony that sat between the alabaster columns in this part of the palace. Her eyes searched the lower grounds and they landed on the black unicorn being pulled by his reigns.
“Stop! Don’t hurt him-ugh!” Mawu’s hand shoots to her head as she felt the throbbing pain return to her.
“The beast will be properly disposed of,” her eyes strained to her right and she saw Loki’s presence phase behind her. His hands were intertwined behind his back as he looked her over. Mawu was slumped against the banister of the balcony and just her standing there made the Goddess more dizzy than before.
“You must stop them, Gbekele is just scared and confused. Getting rid of him wouldn’t help anything!” Mawu moaned out in pain. The throbbing was growing more unbearable.
“You should be resting still,” he completely ignored what she had said and Mawu frowned in annoyance.
“I do not have time for your lectures.” Mawu was feeling faint and fell to her knees.
“Oh, forget you, I will do it myself.”
“You are only hurting yourself, and for what? An animal?” He questions as Mawu glared up at him.
“I was able to get him to calm down, when no one else was able to. I see anger in him that hasn’t been settled yet.” Mawu explains as she struggles to her stand back on her feet. Her hands grip the railing of the balcony once more as the dizzy feeling returns.
“He is being treated wrongly for expressing such emotion and it seems like the only answer is to get rid of him. Well, I’m not going to let that happen. I am going to help him, whether you like it or not.” She sassed and Loki looks at her in disbelief.
“You would risk your life for an animal?”
“Yes. I would.” She shrugs then and laugh in mirthlessly.
“I guess it’s just the mother like nature in me, it matters not what you are, man or animal I treat you all like my children.” She tells him and Loki frowns.
She then snaps her fingers and in a blue mist her body disappears leaving the Prince of Asgard to watch her mist fly over the balcony and to the lower ground.
“Stopppp!” Her words began to slur, and her body returns to its knelt form as the men restraining the animal stops abruptly from the goddess’s sudden appearance. Gbekele neighs and tries to force his reigns from his captors hands to approach the goddess.
“Stop, please. Let him go.” She says as her eyes grew heavier with each labored breath she took. The men didn’t know what to do. They had specific order from Prince Loki to take the beast to the Asgardian woodlands where he would fend for himself or Ulik would take him.
“Lady Mawu, we were ordered to-”
“I know that you were ordered by that pompous bastard. But, I am ordering you to release him.” Mawu demands and the men hesitantly release the unicorn’s reigns to allow it to pace over to Mawu’s knelt form. Gbekele rubs his head against the side of her face and Mawu raises a shaky hand to stroke his long face.
A shaky smile appears on her lips as the unicorn neighs softly to his new friend. Mustering up enough strength to scratch under his chin, Mawu’s eyes roll to the back of her head and she once more loses consciousness, her body falling over to her side. Gbekele neighs in alarm and the men cry out her name.
Gbekele runs his lips against her face to try and wake her up but, all it did was bring out a pained moan from the goddess. Green mists is suddenly next to the woman as pale hands lift under both her legs and head to be settled against a green and black chest.
Loki’s appearance shocked the men and unicorn as the God looked down at the woman with a shake of his head. He knew this would happen, but before he was able to stop her from intervening she had already spelled her way to the unicorn.
Gbekele stomps his hooves in irritation at Loki’s sudden appearance and felt his need to charge when Loki turns his gaze to the horse who almost immediately stopped his upcoming tantrum.
“Your highness,” Loki turns to the men, kneeling before him.
“W-What shall we do with the unicorn, sire?” The man in front asks.
Loki contemplated his thoughts and turn back to Mawu’s sleeping face. Sighing heavily, he turns his back to the men and begins his walk back to the palace.
“Put him in a single stable. Don’t have anyone near him until, Lady Mawu is well.” Loki orders and the men chorused their affirmed answers. With one last glance at the unicorn, Loki snaps his fingers and he returns to the hallway where Mawu and he resided.
He phased into her room and gently laid her down on her bed. Her pet rabbit, comes skittering over to her side and sniffs her hair before curling up in a ball beside her, for a light nap. He calls for the physician and almost immediately the guard by their rooms is on the move to get said physician.
Sitting himself in a nearby chair Loki sighs and rubs his templates in frustration. This woman...her heart was too pure. She was both beautiful inside as she was outside. Putting her life on the line to save an untamed beast, was admirable. How could someone like him be able to understand why she would put others first before herself?
Oh, that’s right. He couldn’t because, he too wanted to be apart of her life and with how he was acting towards her, he was more likely pushing her away than getting closer to her. The opposite of what his mother had been hammering into his head for the past week.
Was it so awful that maybe...that she was growing on him? That maybe he was...falling for her?
He shakes his head at the absurd thought then returns his focus to her sleeping face. Damn stubborn woman. His thoughts were troubled and Loki brings his hands to rubs his face.
“Gods above, I need a drink.” He mutters.
