New Year's is a little under two hours for me! Hope everyone has had a decent year, and here's to another one ahead of us!
Did the maws get any presents last Christmas?
Leone got an arm band, Rose got a cape, Chrome got a medal for being #1 mentor, and Sharkbait got loads of pokebeans and pokepuffs. Fae? She got the love from all of you, and that’s enough for her!

Oh, right.
They weren’t exactly the best at being an assassin. They were really bad, actually. The Assassin’s Guild teaches three vital things that make up a good assassin.
An Assassin has to be Sneaky in order to be able to follow their target without being noticed.
They also have to understand Secrecy. Being an assassin is no good if they can’t keep a secret.
It’s also beneficial to be Stoic. Developing relationships and fondness for others can interfere with the job assigned.
Rose... wasn’t good at any of these. On more than one occasion, they would interrogate a witness by saying, “Hi, I’m Rose, and I’m an assassin! I’m looking for so-and-so! Do you know anything about their whereabouts?”
The Guild decided they shouldn’t be left to do jobs on their own, so they were assigned to be my apprentice.
After all, that personality of theirs does come in handy from time to time.
