Recap of my 2014 East Coast USA trip
I loved so much of my trip back in the USA! After the super nice and awesome vacation that I had in the Philippines back in January, I couldn't ask or expect anything better, but the USA still amazes me with so many surprises.
This trip could be divided into four parts:
Part 1. Attending Market America | Shop.com's world conference
During the three day conference in downtown Miami, I got to network with other entrepreneurs from all over the globe and learn so much about the latest in online marketing\social shopping. Meeting JR and Loren (founders of Market America) was definitely a highlight too; they're true visionaries and two of the nicest hardest working people that I've met. Getting to know them more have inspired me to become a better business woman and a leader. #MAWC2014
Part 2. Life on Miami Beach
It was my first time in Miami so I decided to spend a few days in the city (mostly on the beach), just so I can actually know what Miami is like. And I loved this place! Not just because Enrique Iglesias lives here, and there are lots o' parties, the weather, of course, was so awesome. I love summer and the beach, and there were palm trees, I could totally see myself living in Miami. Driving a cool car. For accommodation, I couldn't find a couchsurfing host in time so I booked myself a hostel, it turned out a great experience too and the people that I've shared my room with were all interesting characters. I always wish I had a little more time with the people that I met on the road.
Part 3. Birthday in Boston
Three years ago I celebrated my 29th birthday while couchsurfing\backpacking in the USA, my host Kim and Sam threw me a little party at their home in Tulsa, OK, that was so nice : ) This year I was so happy to meet up with Mena and Sarah in Boston, we spent a very nice evening together having Italian food & cupcakes! I met the both of them a year ago in China while volunteering for Operation Smile, the three of us sat together on our flight from Beijing to Yantai, I still remember the stuff that we talked about on our flight when we first met. It's just so wonderful to see old friend again, I felt very loved being with them. I got to stay with Mena at her uni for the weekend and thank her so much for showing me around Boston, and their cafeteria buffet was awesome!
Part 4. NYC revisited, still a favorite city of mine!
This was my third time in NYC, and I just wanted to stay there! My last visit in NY was more than ten years ago, I backpacked there by myself and decided that NYC is the coolest place on earth. I just don't know how to describe New York City...the amount of things to do, to see, the art, the people to meet....every street and every block, there are millions and millions of stories, things are always happening, even the air is exciting, your heart just beats faster in New York City and that's my kind of place. My couchsurfing experience in NY was also remarkable. Maybe I'll write more about it later.

Once again, I had so much fun trying new restaurants, making new friends, meeting old friends, couchsurfing, swimming, walking around on the street talking with random strangers, spending all day at the museum, learning, partying, laughing, living each day not knowing what's going to happen. I love doing all of these things so much, maybe that's why I travel constantly...Thanks again for the good memories USA : -)
