La verdad es que la mayoría de las fotografías de drones populares que se capturan con estos rasgos comunes: la cámara está situada a sólo 10-100 pies del suelo el drone está cerca del sujeto, y el sujeto es fácilmente identificable un ángulo de cámara oblicua revela el horizonte y el cielo, además del tema Una de las decisiones que el fotógrafo del drone tiene que hacer es ésta; ¿subirá el sujeto por encima del horizonte o permanecerá por debajo del horizonte? La diferencia entre los dos es significativa.
