maverism: the radical notion that maveriques are people. /reference
Should we (or can we?) extend maverism to encompass all maverine people? Or does that accidentally end up erasing maveriques?

i'm guessing this is about my recent post.
the introductory post for maverism specifically says it's an ideology that centres maveriques and other abinary people, and by extension, benefits all nonbinary people. it's probably up to the individual whether they would like to be included in maverism if they are not a maverique. with that definition however, maverine people would already be included. and, much like feminism, maverism is ultimately beneficial for everyone.
about that post: "feminism is the radical notion that women are people" is a famous quote by marie shear that's often also found on t-shirts, pins and the like. we know now that many people who are not women include themselves in feminism, so the quote is incomplete, since feminism is now often interpreted as fighting the patriarchy.
that recent post was based on that quote and thus is similarly incomplete. i realise i should have used a tone indicator, i'll add one now.
