I finished Maus yesterday; ooohhhh booooyyy.....
It's so peak.... The art style is so scrumptious.... I don't usually feel emotional towards art, it's all very neutral for me, but this made me feel so incredibly attached to the characters and the story. It was almost like mister Vladek (how I hate how English hasn't got a formal form I feel so disrespectful) was talking straight to the reader. I felt like I was in the room with him and his son. Sometimes it was a little bit hard to understand what he was saying, since the grammar wasn't entirely correct, and sometimes some scenes were pretty crude (justifiably so),but it's manageable. The story flowed incredibly well, it was an amazing read. Couldn't stop recommending it.
