Risking it all - a parallel between Maul and Ezra. 
Starting with Stepping Into Shadow (season 3 episode 1) we see Ezra experimenting with the darkside. Ezra leads a mission to steal some y-wings from Reklem Station. Commander Titus says he's sabotaged the control unit so the only way to unlock the Y-wings is to cut power to the entire station. So Ezra recklessly slices the power generator with his lightsaber knowing full well that this will cause the station to crash and burn.
Maul makes the same kind of gambit while trying to escape the Venator at the end of the Clone Wars, albeit in a flashier way. (They had a much larger FX budget in this season of Clone Wars, but you get the idea)
I’m sure Maul would approve of Ezra’s risky move. I just think it’s fun to draw parallels between them. 🔹🔺
Love the idea of Ezra rolling his eyes at something ridiculous Maul says to him, "Sure, whatever you say OLD MAN." 🙄
But like Maul doesn't quite understand teenage sass so It goes over his head. Maul squinting in confusion,*Why does he keep mentioning my age?*
Or even take it one step further and Maul completely misinterprets it. “Ah, yes, I am very old and wise Ezra. Good of you to notice.”
Meanwhile Ezra is facepalming because his darkside master is an idiot.
