Ah Thank you! As for how I don’t go crazy, honestly its because I’m lazy and don’t actually reference his tattoos. They’re so inconsistent anyway, I just sort of free hand them. I know he has the like upside down heart in the middle of his chest and then I just make it up from there haha
!!! Yes good. Pain for Maul. Pain for me. Everyone is sad. Everyone loves it haha I was just thinking about Maul in enclosed spaces! And I agree, I think he would absolutely hate it. I keep thinking about this. well, not Prince!Maul exactly, but I'm struggling with the relationship between Talzin and Maul in the canon. Like, she basically says she loves him (altho not so explicitly) in son of dathomir. but given the gender segregation and low status of nightbrothers, what exactly does her love amount to??
By which I mean, what would his position be in such a society? Would she have put him above the status quo? ANYWAY Prince!Maul is nice, even if he is surrounded by unpleasant nightsisters.
Right! I agree. I want to take a closer look at the canon again because, as much as I want Savage and Maul to have a mom who loves them, I’m not always sure the canon really supports that? Like Talzin seemed pretty ready to use them when she needed to, though in the Son of Dathomir comics it does seem like she really did care for Maul?
But in this sort of Game of Thrones esque AU, I feel like it would be putting a bastard son on the throne. Even though Maul is her actual son, I would assume that it would be pretty unheard of and many nightsisters would doubt his authority.
