I just said you deserve to Marry whoever you want, legally. You cannot, however, choose to practice a religion and try to change it to fit what you want. If you want all the Christian beliefs but want to have the marriage sacrament then make your own sect of the religion.
I actually can because I am a part of that religion and I deserve everything the straight people deserve. You're trying to justify it by saying that because it's in their religion it makes it okay. I don't care what's in your religion I am equal to you and there's nothing you can fucking do about it.

I've literally thought about killing myself multiple times because every time I go to church I am told that I am gonna burn in hell for something I have no control over whatsoever. I'd think it'd be easier to just kill myself than have to fight for my equality.

I'm gay, and I know my Mary icon doesn't really seem convincing, but I'm also not Christian. Part of the Christian faith is that the sacrament of marriage is between man and woman. They don't believe that same sex couples can get married. If you don't like that then don't practice he faith. However, if they extend the sacramental marriage to legal marriage and don't allow same sex couples to get legally married then yes it is homophobic and wrong and oppressive and all that bad junk
