Greatest hike on Maui! I hiked the Maihee Ridge Yesterday! I climbed 1600 vertical feet over 5 miles of lush, tropical, incredibly beautiful trails with breath taking views! I’m so grateful that even with having MS I was able to do two amazing hikes so far here on Maui, as well as walk miles on a Oceanside sidewalk with spectacular views!🙏👼🏻 10 years ago, I had a very difficult time while vacationing in Hawaii because of debilitating fatigue, an aching body, vertigo and numbness, heaviness, and weakness in my legs. When I got home I went to see a neurologist. Being diagnosed with MS was scary and I didn’t know what my future would be. Having a treatment that’s working, a balanced schedule, rest, a positive attitude, and loving family and friends, today, I’m still doing activities that I love to do! I’m so grateful that even with MS my body can still hike on good days and when I really want to hike! Yesterday, I hiked 1600 vertical feet, over 5 miles on the Lahaina- Pali highway hike on Maui.
