La melodía es una obra maestra, en un constante crescendo, que tiene guitarras distorsionadas y lentas, contrastando con una voz femenina etérea y de estilo barroco o gótico.

TOBY DRIVER (of KAYO DOT, MAUDLIN OF THE WELL, TARTAR LAMB, VAURA, SECRET CHIEFS 3) (USA)

I had a few boring, typical jobs before getting my degree - worked in a bookstore, an ice cream shop, and a horrible factory whose only purpose was to package and ship the junk that gets sold on daytime TV. After graduating, I worked in IT for an ESL school, then a hip ad agency. I was laid off at age 25 and spent the next few years as a private music tutor and medical research guinea pig whore. I participated in several drug studies– the ketamine ones for Yale University being the most interesting, of course. After I moved to NYC in 2007, I worked as a recording studio assistant until finally becoming a full-time musician in 2010. When I have long breaks between tours now, I still give private music lessons. I would like to impart to the kids that it's normal to not "have it happen" for you until you're in your 30s. Just stick with it and keep working.
