             with  everything  going  on  . . .  the  tape  ,  the  letter  . . .  everything  he'd  seen  in  the  last  few  days  . . .  kai  couldn't  screw  his  head  on  straight  .  then  again  ,  when  had  kai  𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑  had  his  head  screwed  on  straight  ?  something  had  always  been  off  with  the  male  .  but  alas  ,  this  was  a  different  kind  of  off  .  the  kind  where  his  normal  tactics  and  shenanigans  to  amuse  or  entertain  himself  weren't  really  cutting  it  like  they  usually  did  .  not  exactly  filling  the  void  in  the  way  he'd  usually  liked  due  to  everything  lincoln  city  had  to  offer  .        (      due  to  emotional  distress  .      )         or  that  that  was  not  to  be  spoken  about  .         ⏤       drunk  out  of  his  mind  ,  kai  was  being  loud  and  obnoxious  in  the  bar  .  not  exactly  the  craziest  thing  to  see  from  the  male  ,  he  wasn't  exactly  shy  ,  subtle  or  anything  in  between  .  sure  ,  the  whole  brother  seemingly  coming  back  to  life  to  send  a  little  message  didn't  help  his  sparkling  personality  but  that  was  besides  the  point  .  spotting  the  girl  ,  kai  couldn't  help  but  laugh  during  whatever  rant  he  was  on  to  the  men  in  the  bar  beside  him  .  pushing  himself  off  the  bar  stool  and  over  to  where  hestia  was  ,  kai  plopped  his  glass  onto  her  table  before  raising  his  hand  and  placing  it  on  her  shoulder  .         ❛      well  well  well  ,  if  it  isn't  my  brothers  favorite  ex  flame  .     ❜         was  that  the  truth  ?  𝐃𝐄𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄  .  the  two  spending  most  of  the  time  they  were  around  each  other  bickering  and  arguing  about  any  and  every  little  thing  imaginable  but  that  was  part  of  the  charm  ,  wasn't  it  ?
