Apparently i "looked too peaceful" and then he got distracted making dinner and watching videos and the next thing he knew it was dark outside.

Love is beautiful until your boyfriend accidentally skips you into the next available timezone..

perhaps cuddling in bed peacefully with dave having no nightmares because matteo calms him ........

ANYWAY!!! For the fanbase I have here because of my TEOS content, I have updates!

I’ll try and upload my Mattorres fic soon (once I’m not so busy and I have the motivation).

AND I am making a TEOS Discord server because I NEED to ramble with my people.

Management called me into the office today. Which is already a bad way to start a tuesday. Apparently they wanted to discuss "ongoing scheduling concerns."

I said, "okay."

They said, "why can't you and matteo work the same shift?"

First of all. We can. Second of all. I'd appreciate it if people stopped acting like we're the problem every time something weird happens.

Yes, the inventory count was wrong.

Yes, someone forgot to log the freezer samples.

Yes, we somehow took the same lunch break without realizing it.

Those are independent events.

Management then produced a folder.

There was a folder.

Inside the folder was apparently every incident from the last four months that happened while matteo and i were scheduled together.

I didn't know they were keeping score.

They highlighted one that literally said:

"Employee Torres appeared unable to answer direct questions after employee Leon complimented his haircut."

This is an invasion of privacy.

I asked where they got that information.

They said:

"You were standing in the hallway."

Fair enough. They suggested putting us on opposite shifts permanently. I asked if this was because of favoritism.

They said, "No, it's because the break room somehow loses all productivity whenever you're together."

I would like to point out that i am productive. Matteo is also productive.

Our productivity just occasionally overlaps into conversations that begin with "Hey, look at this" and somehow end forty-five minutes later with me sitting on a countertop. That's not a crime.

Probably.

Anyway.

Different shifts now. Which, according to Matteo, is "tragic." Which is a very dramatic word for "We'll see each other in six hours."

He also texted me "Distance makes the heart grow fonder." I told him distance makes the inventory actually get finished.
