I will be completely honest with you:
I have no idea what I’m talking about because I forgot these questions halfway reading Mallory Archer’s background and as a total confession I confused them for a CIA agent in a different “crack crossover fanfic” (according to the author) so uh… this might take a couple days to WRITE, so sorry about this.
I. Will they get involved in Rykor shenanigans are is she safe in her Canadian posting?
II. If they had the chance to have a legitimate job, even if foreign, would they? Why or Why not?
III. THE MAIN TWO QUESTIONS I FORGOT EARLIER LOL. Since Archer loves history and romance, is there a certain Era of History and/or Type of Romance they like in particular?
IV. Most desperate question for last, HAVE THEY READ SHARPE??
No need to apologize for taking a bit to ask me anything! I love talking and sharing OC stuff, so seeing people be interested in Mallory makes me grin ear to ear. I'll answer these to the best of my ability.
1. Ehehe yes, Mallory will be playing a role in Controlling the Narrative. However, it will not be the main story. They will only appear during a specific epilogue ending (yes, there will be endings plural for the AU if I get that far, y'all just gotta trust me here). They will still be working their job as a Wall mole and that is all I'm going to share.
2. If Mallory could be anything in the whole world, they would be a professional animal trainer or a Broadway actor. They've always had an affinity to animals even if most creatures are weary towards them. They also love theater and performance arts, so being allowed to wear crazy costumes and sing on-stage would-be a dream (that or Opera, but they can't sing well enough to be in Opera).
3. Mallory's favorite historical event to study and talk about is the Napoleonic Wars, but they also like studying the Industrial Revolution because of the trains. As for romance, they love a good slow-burn, opposites attract romance novel with minimal spiciness. They are also a sucker for the corniest romcoms ever produced, and they will probably have Hallmark movie binge sessions, and sometimes Matteus joins (he doesn't care for that genre of romance himself, but he'll sit and watch them on occasion to make Mal happy).
4. No, they have not, but they have seen an episode of the show inspired by it (the one that takes place in Napoleonic France). However, if someone were to request the book series to them, they would probably enjoy it a lot. They really like historical fiction.
