Here is the first batch of crewmates that are part of Burgundy's crew. All of them have jobs, most of them are seasoned middle-aged somethings who are eagerly counting down the days until retirement. The unfortunate minority of younglings are about to get their dreams crushed because capitalism and control said so.

Burgundy - Captain of the Sheild
Sweet talker with unshakable confidence
Task: Leadership, stability
Fun Fact: Might be infested with alien worms
Burgundy is the captain of the Sheild (it's a higher-quality, but older variant of the Skeld). They're a confident and well-adjusted leader with a very easy time keeping their crew efficient and high-spirited. They are usually a sweet talker but is used to being very articulate and punctual when the time calls. However, they are still a huge nerd at their core and will lose the professional persona to geek out about anibeans. They've also been a seasoned MIRA higher-up for 10 years, and they are celebrated for their "loyalty" by being infected with mind-controlling parasites. Thank you, MIRA. Very cool.
Lagoon - First Mate of the Sheild
A soft-spoken nervous wreck
Task: Being disregarded
Fun Fact: Likes to surf
Lagoon is Burgundy's right-hand bean and the second in command on the Sheild, although their lack of confidence obliterates any level of authority their position holds. Although being very calculated and a highly skilled planner, their weakness lies in execution both in commanding the crowds and being 100% confident on said calls. They are at their best next to someone better spoken than them who can communicate Lagoon's plans in a precise matter. But if Lagoon wants to truly be the leader people want them to be, they need to believe in themselves more (booo corny).

Canary - Communications Officer
Obnoxious gamer on a headset
Task: Talking about nothing
Fun Fact: Loves to cosplay on the job
Canary is the communications officer of the ship. They are a spunky, energetic, and very excitable social media influencer who got the job precisely because they are social media savvy. Does that carry over well into communications regarding ship tech and MIRA HQ professionality? No, but they are an incredibly good bullshitter in that regard. Their love to "be in character" leads them to learn all kinds of thing the character they're roleplaying would know. And right now, it's their favorite anibean's own communication officer, Glitter.
Azure - Navigational Officer
Tired, passive-aggressive, selectively spiteful
Task: Keep the crew on course
Fun Fact: Watches a lot of Anibean (Anime)
Azure is the navigations officer of the ship. They have been on all kinds of ships for around two decades at this point and know a good amount of the ins and outs regarding the processes of ship management. Originally, they were aiming to be their own captain, but their lack of trust in the crews they managed, and their control-freak tendencies made them more of a liability while in a position of power. Instead, they are assigned to keep ships on course for their missions, while their real Captains manage the crew themselves.
Can't have a cooperate crew without the overworked older folk.
Brass - Engineer
Angry, smelly, strong
Task: Reluctantly fixing other people's stuff
Fun Fact: Wants to retire this year
Brass is the senior engineer on the ship. Tired, overworked, and a scent you can smell from rooms away, they are just eagerly counting down the days until retirement. MIRA has already in their words, "taken enough decades off their life", so their spark for the job has clearly been gone for a while. However, they are still incredibly good at their job, which sucks because that means they are constantly put in important positions instead of being left alone. When they retire, they want to start up their old high-school band again.
Paprika - Head Chef
A spicy meatloaf with a smart mouth
Task: Cook
Fun Fact: Enjoys arts and crafts
Paprika is the head chef on the ship. A real "mama bear", they are the snarky yet emotional anchor to the ship. They love to cook, often creating large flavorful meals for all the crewmates to enjoy. They also love spice in their dishes, and if one of the crewmembers can't handle the heat, they get a sad lame meal (if they don't like you). Back at home, they have a lovely spouse named Saffron and a plethora of sproutlings both biologically theirs and fostered by them and their partner. They are very family oriented and take no shit from nobody.

Chartreuse - Welding Apprentice
Sturdy and eager to please
Task: Eagerly fixing other people's stuff
Fun Fact: Hopeless romantic
Chartreuse is an engineering apprentice. Working under Brass, they are a small spark to the ship's morale. They are wide-eyed and curious about ship mechanics and culture, but their struggle to follow instructions makes giving them commands a bit difficult. They are, however, an insanely fast tactile learner, and once they do something once, they have it fully memorized. Unless they are under pressure, then the anxiety messes them up. Also, they might be slightly color-blind which will definitely not cause any issues in the future.
Jam - Sous Chef
Optimistic wannabe leader
Task: Helping Paprika in the kitchen
Fun Fact: Has two siblings named Butter and Peanut
Jam, or "Jammy", is another intern. They were originally aiming to be a shadow for crew leadership (aka being captain), but with the number of crewmates applying for that role, they detoured to something easier to get into, which with their skillset was cooking. As optimistic and passionate as they are for learning the culinary craft under Paprika, their heart still lies in piloting and "captaining", and they eagerly await the moment an opportunity proposes itself to make those dreams come true.
And that's it for right now. The ship does have 15 crewmates on it cuz it's a full lobby.

Out of curiosity (in relation to Bismuth), are Green and Orange still imposters in that au/timeline/scenario/whatever the proper word is, or are they both crewmates?
Whether they are or not, are there any major changes in Bismuth's personality if Orange and Green are the opposite?
(Please ignore this if you don't want to answer, I just really like the beans and am really curious)
In the original senario, Green and Orange are not imposters. Bismuth did bite the both them in a panic during the storage incident when they fell out of the Ore+ crate, so both Green and Orange have a little bit of the "imposter virus" (which doesn't do anything really since Bismuth is a shapeshifter, which is a different species from the hideous mass imposters that appear in the show).
However, they don't leave unscathed, they retain some weird quirks after the fact, like having an even bigger craving for salts and lowkey liking the metallic taste of blood.
But back to the question. Bismuth has very different reactions to Imp!Orange and Imp!Green because both Orange and Green have vastly different personalities when they are their true selves and when parasites are larping as them.
Orange: You're cuate, Bismuth, but you aren't ver MIRA approved.
Imp!Orange: AWWW BABY!! MY SWEET PRECIOUS ORE+ BABY!!
Bismuth: (Oh my gooooooooooooooooood bruh.)
Green: DAWWW!! You beautiful little caterpillar! All wriggly and squiggly and wormy!
Imp!Green: Oh! Hello, little worm. (I need to kill this thing now.)

Normal Orange doesn't really know how to express affection genuinely. They're too HR pilled to feel comfortable showing any level of "true" affection to anyone aside from a shoulder pat or a side hug (or swooning over a certain doctor). Because of their "professionalism", any care towards Bismuth is very awkward, similar to how someone who doesn't like dogs would pet one. Bismuth doesn't mind though; a head pat is still a head pat at the end of the day.
Imp!Orange makes Bismuth very angry. Since Imp!Orange is waaaaay broodier towards the Ore+, Bismuth being "born" out of it immediately makes them the primary receiver of all Imp!Orange's overbearing "love". Shapeshifters are solitary in nature, and as much as Bismuth loves attention, they need to be left alone half the time. But around Imp!Orange, they never alone time, and that pisses the baby off.
Green is a whole different can of worms, ehehehhh please laugh.
Normal Green adores Bismuth and loves to care for them. Bismuth likes Green cuz they are always willing to give them attention and isn't grossed out by their slimy exterior, meaning lots of hugs whenever they ask for them. The two do a lot of other things together, and a lot of their early shapeshifting practice was through Green (drawing things for Bismuth to copy and all that). They get along super well.
Imp!Green hates competition. Imp!Green hates to be challenged in any regard. And uh, Bismuth is a shapeshifter, a very opportunistic predator that could easily kill Imp!Green if the opportunity presented itself. Saying they don't care for each other is... un understatement lol. They are both very hostile to each other, with Bismuth refusing any kind of touch from Imp!Green and Imp!Green struggling to find a way to dispose of this obstacle to their murderous plot. Good times.

To the people who followed me during my THSC phase where all I drew was Toppat Rykor, this pallet choice should be familiar lol. If not, ignore the previous statement, this is completely original to this piece of art and isn't a trend of mine when I chose to draw something with heightened emotions using RWBY lol.
Anyways new OC for a "new" story! You can't see them super well but they're having fun playing a game of tug-o-war with a parasite, how fun^^
More general info below the cut:
Ok, bc I don't have thaaaaat much art to show for this story yet, I will give a very brief rundown of the plot and main character.
This story is a somewhat spinoff hypothetical S2 story based on the Hide and Seek game mode in Among Us. It is called "It's Just a Fluke".
This crewmate is Burgundy. They are a captain 10 years in running, who was poisoned with a parasite during their cooperate gifted 10-year celebration dinner.
Taking place before S1 of the Among Us show, Burgundy is in charge of one of the first shipments of Ore+ to Industria. With their team of highly trained crewmates, they embark to one of the asteroid colonies to gather their harvest and return back to MIRA HQ. However, death awaits the crew as the parasite inside of Burgundy fights for control over their body, destroying the captain's mind and body. In the end, Burgundy loses to the parasite, and all hell breaks loose for everyone else on the ship. But they sure as hell are not going down without a fight.
Independently of the plot, Burgundy is a very charismatic and laid-back/fun captain of many different ships. Despite having a very rough start at MIRA, they managed to claw their way up the ranks very quickly and be incredibly well-respected. However, MIRA doesn't appreciate their higher ups asking too many questions, so by infecting Burgundy with a parasite, they attempt to "conform" Burgundy to their imposter-ish ranks. This parasite makes Burgundy much more hostile and skittish than they normally are. And becuase Burgundy's will is strong, the parasite struggles to take over their mind quickly. It in turn takes a much longer, more agonizing time to fight for control.
Burgundy takes lots of medical procedures to try and remove the parasite or keep it at bay, but in the end, it is futile. Almost their entire crew gets massacred. Except for a certain engineer with a soon to be missing leg.
Anyways that's my vague-posting for the day. Maybe one day I'll make actual show-related Among Us art without ocs but we'll see lol.
Among Us show so good I binged both Rodamrix and Remnant in the same day (help me).

What do you mean Rodamrix is created by one person, and it is genuinely so cleanly animated and actively coming out? What do you mean Remnant is also probably made by one person and still actively in production and the next episode is coming out on the 18th? I have been SLEEPING on Among Us gems dude.

Ok, so for people in the no-know, the order of the babies is Bismuth (polyskeld fankid), Amber (my own story), Mini Blue (Remnant), Gold (my own story), Glitch.Y (Rodamrix), and Navy (Rodamrix).
I love how (sometimes) over half of the kids are imposter-like in nature, while the others are just regular babies. All of them are kinda traumatized tho, and a good amount of them have watched their parents get almost fatally injured or just straight up die. Good times we're living in, mental anguish builds character.

Bismuth is a freak in all regards even to the average imposter. Since they are a pure shapeshifter, they maintain all of their alien biology, even the really gross parts, much to the other sprouts' discomfort. However, most of these imposters have been dubbed by me as "New Age Imposters" meaning they are hybrids who have both crewmate and "imposter" blood, or they were converted into imposters but still are fundamentally built like crewmates.
None of them have seen a "friendly" pure-blooded imposter, so hostility is very valid (especially with all the shit these guys go through).
And that makes sense, considering this is how Bismuth looks when they're not copying the people around them.
It only looks grosser when they get older don't worry.

I did some doodles of Teal in-between Art Fight attacks (they're up on Art Fight btw #subtleplug). I felt like being nice
I've been thinking about a ship name between the two. I could do Ceal or Tyan but I kinda wanted something with a bit more pizzaz.
I thought Ain't Exactly Blue would be funny in reference to Teal's debut image along with Cyan as a color ain't exactly being blue. It was cute to me but feel free to offer me something better.

I do want Teal to have more fleshed out relations with the other crewmates on the ship besides Cyan and Green. Yes, I want my character to have friends outside of their partner, I was already pushing it with Prøto.
I like to think Teal would enjoy hearing Yellow talk about the other crewmates because "New Mimic Theory" or whatever, but also because it's their best way to learn about their "fellow crewmates", and on White's ghost no one is saying ANYTHING to Teal. It works out because Yellow is down to shittalk anyways.
They also enjoy the pizza cooked, salt or no salt. Teal is a Phantom by all technicality, and their biology works differently from the "Hosts" (Green, Orange). Don't ask me about it, it's a whole can of worms and there's someone more qualified to be asked about that (wink @katiekatdragon27 wink)
Does Teal listen all the way? They do their best, but they enjoy the company and at least one of the crew not being hostile to them. Don't tell them they're the subject of a majority of Yellow's rumors.
A bit of backstory with this one:
My sibling @katiekatdragon27 (I'm pinging you twice) made a Poly-Skeld shipkid Bismuth. So this is like, an AU where Green and Orange aren't evil and everyone is alive and kind of normal. They have posts about it on their page, look there for more info.
Anyway, I decided to draw our two guys interacting because we were talking about it.
Teal is still an alien in this and so is Bismuth. Since Bismuth is a Shapeshifter and Teal is a Phantom, they have different textures. Bismuth is slimly and sticky while Teal has a more "fuzzy" texture (think peach fuzz). When they touch, something happens that basically makes Bismuth stuck on Teal until an outside force helps him (normally it's Blue)
Someone can bs the chemistry in the reblogs, but Teal learns to not pet the baby afterwards. That doesn't mean the baby can't sneak rides onto their back without them knowing.
I'm still very glad people enjoy Teal and their pathetic-ness. I've yapped more than normal on this post sooooo I hope you guys enjoy more indepth comments! Enjoy Teal's joy while you can..
Are they all a slightly off colour than the crew or are there different colours.
Bismuth, like all other shapeshifters, can change into any color they want. The off-color/off-model attempts at shapeshifting are the result of them being a baby that is still learning how to color-pick and clothing match based on observation.
However, because of their wide variety of influences with regards to copying the other crewmates, copying the books and media they are shown, general scientific training, and being "dolled up" by so many beans, Bismuth has had waaaaaaaaaaay more personal and interactive shapeshifting that almost every other shapeshifter known by MIRA (mostly because the really good shapeshifters are never found or documented).
The Strange Case of Bismuth:
Interacted with the crew prematurely and as a result is forced to adapt earlier than the average shapeshifter.
Being a baby, they absorb information like a sponge. They are very malleable and trainable to do all kinds of things.
With 11 beans running around who coddle them all day, Bismuth has had a ton of interaction and time to learn behaviors, and their high inelegance definitely helps replication.
Shapeshifters are the only species of "imposter" who actively crave salt (specifically the salt in blood and other kinds of meat). Because of this, Bismuth is kept from tantrums by being fed a mix of raw dough and sausages. However, raw unprocessed salt still causes respiratory and internal gut issues when absorbed into their body.
Speaking of hunger and hunting, shapeshifters don't have reflective visors when they hunt, but Bismuth does cus they don't hunt (yet).
And since they are a baby, they are bad at accurate shapeshifting. They are getting better every time they do it though.
If Bismuth is raised well and only by the crew, they would be an amazing worker and maybe even an actor or something. If they get taken in by MIRA and cared for well over there, they could be an insane super-weapon for MIRA's arsenal, being able to sense and hunt both crewmates and imposters very effectively.
And if they're taken to MIRA and treated poorly... yeaaaaaaaaaaaah I'm sure you guys can figure out what'll probably happen next. Here's a hint:🩸😱💥💀🍽️

MORE DRAWINGS OF CHARACTERS SLEEPING YAAAAAAAY. It's a right of passage for fankids ig lol. If I draw them sleeping with their family, they're peak to me.
Although Bismuth has 11 parents, only three of them take it upon themselves to put the sprout to bed. Those three being Brown (and sometimes Yellow), Cyan, and surprisingly Lime.
When Brown puts Bismuth to bed, they leave kitchen clean-up early to sit in bed with the sprout. Brown doesn't do the traditional care like reading a book, but instead just relaxes and sometimes falls asleep there too. Bismuth loves snuggling with Brown. Also, if Brown isn't in their and Yellow's room by the latter finish cleaning the kitchen, Yellow takes a picture of them together and wakes Brown up to sleep in their own bed.
Cyan: Hello Little One! I'm happy to see you too! What would you like to read tonight? NO WAY! YOU FOUND THIS!? I love this book!
Cyan is the other main bedtime caretaker. When Brown is busy with the kitchen, Cyan comes into Bismuth's room to read them a story of the baby's choosing. Cyan's soothing voice, plethora of rocks, and general gentleness, Bismith sleeps very comfortably every night.
Cyan loves reading to Bismuth too. In a way, they feel like they're reliving their childhood by reading some of their favorite books from those times. They love sharing their narrative storytelling and love for simple moral stories. Sometimes Purple joins in too, but they usually fall asleep themselves before the story concludes (sleep deprivation from watching security cams).
And then there's Lime (comic below teehee):
Lime: AW SHI- AAAAH OOF!! ... AAAHH!! STAY BACK!! What? You want me to read you the book of Epiphany or somethin'?
Lime became the late-night "horror stories" mate. Bro is religious, so what better way to share your other practice that isn't engineering than to read the source material to an impressionable bean who wants to read the book that has lots of violence and murder and some sus topics. (There are nice moments that talk about redemption and forgiveness, but Bismuth finds those parts boring).
As much as Bismuth and Lime enjoy these "calm" moments of understanding (also Lime's energy makes this significantly more interesting for Bismuth), others aren't very fond of the crazy conspiracy theorist reading not super friendly religious material to a literal baby.

This bothers Cyan a little too, but Purple is able to chew out Lime no problem. They get into arguments about what is "age appropriate" for Bismuth to read.

Anyways this is Bismuth. They are a baby shapeshifter imposter who is still learning about how their body works along with how to do most things. They aren't the most expressive and they don't know many words, but they like to follow around crewmates and copy what they do. They also will practice their shapeshifting to try and look like members of the crew, but they aren't very good at it lol. Very much like a little parrot.

I love making AUs and fankids, so this AU is basically if the parasite didn't infect Green and Orange but instead formed to be their own "crewmate". Green and Orange were still bit by Bismuth in their imposter grub form, so they still retain the injury and some of the quirks imposters have (like kind of enjoying the metallic taste of blood). They both like the sprout, but they have vastly different ideas of care.
Green: DAAWW!! THEY'RE SO CUTE, GUYS!! It reminds me so much of home! Beautiful worms <3
Everyone else: Ewwwww...
Orange: Y'know, we're gonna have to report this baby to MIRA. (Even if they're a cutie)
Red: Hmm... Do we really?? They're not hurting anyone... probably.
Green is like a new parent, one who is young and eager and has severe cuteness aggression. They love the shapeshifting bean, even if they have lots of anxiety surrounding the bean's wellness. Orange, on the other end, is more reluctant, treating Bismuth more like a product for transport over viewing them as a kid they would care for. Red treats Bismuth like a little sibling, someone they can play games with and "teach to be just like them" for better or worse. They care about MIRA's opinions on the bugger but values the kid's safety over what corporate has to say. They often butt heads with Orange because of that.
However, there's still a ton of other adults on the ship, so what do they think about Bismuth?
Yellow: There ya go, Baby. Eat up now~ Eughh.
Bismuth's favorite crewmates are Yellow and Brown. This is not out of my bias surprisingly, but bc they are the cooks. Wherever the food is, the baby will follow. Yellow likes the kid and feels maternal to them, but they are put off by Bismuth's texture. They're slimy and gross to touch, so when they ask for head pats, Yellow has to pretend like the slime texture doesn't bother them. Brown isn't super physically affectionate with most people, but they will put their comfort on the side so that Bismuth feels loved. Bismuth loves following Brown around and copying what they do, and sometimes, Brown copies Bismuth.
Cyan: I'm sorry Little One, your aura is feeling a little off today. Let's see if this healing circle helps.
Cyan loves Bismuth very much (and also named them). However, Cyan can somewhat sense Bismuth's "otherness" and negative aura, so in the spiritual ways they know, they try and "flush out" the negative vibes and purify Bismuth. Bismuth doesn't really get it, and the salt makes them sneeze and cough, but they don't mind being around Cyan cuz they're very nice to them. Black and Bismuth don't really do anything together since Black doesn't care for kids like at all, but Bismuth likes to take Blacks pacifier and use it on occasion. Chewing on things is relaxing for them. Bismuth and Purple get along very well, even if Purple is still emotionally distant. They both like to watch Heracles and Bismuth likes to hear Purple talk about animals.
Blue: Now, now Lime, I know you're very religious, but let's think about this logically-
Lime: NO!! THAT THINS IS FROM THE DEVIL THEMSELVES!! THEY'RE EEEEVILLL!!!
Bismuth: G o o g o o g a a g a a .
However, not everyone gets along with the sprout. Lime HAAAAATES Bismuth. Being the conspiracy-religious nut they are, they fear Bismuth and their shapeshifting abilities. They think they're an evil alien demon who is gonna kill them all and wear their skins to do so. Blue tries to nullify the stress, but it hardly works. Blue also does checkups on Bismuth and regularly studies their abilities. They're the only one who has proof they're an alien aren't bothered by it. White, however, is utterly terrified of Bismuth. For reasons, very murderous "eat the rich" reasons. They don't want to be left alone with the sprout ever.
Let's hope they don't start killing anyone. Let's keep them as a little trimming baby forever instead of morphing into a mimic.
