Your ignorance amuses me, but does not surprise me. In order to protect your family from the insatiable adorable ones, you must offer food, water, shelter, waste management, toys, adoration, and, in some cases, snuggling.  

This year, I will be taking the advice of Matt and doing it differently. I have the same bank so it makes it easy.

I set a goal through Simple (my bank) of the amount that that thing says you will save in a year. My bank will now subtly remove roughly $3.75 from my "safe to spend" amount every day and put it towards my goal. Theoretically, I won't even really notice the money isn't there and at the end of the year (after kind of forgetting about the goal), my bank will be like "look at this shit, yo! You reached your goal!"

Let's see if that works.
