Never Forget
As an African American, I must remind my African brethren to never forget. Never forget which race was the origin. Never forget which race introduced astrology, mathematics, medicine, writing and civilization to humanity. Never forget what your melanin represents and who it frightens. Never forget that knowledge is power. Black doesn’t matter in America, as a race we must stop seeking for tokens and morsels of justice from oppressive powers and seize our rightful dues. We must never forget:Â
Who we are as a people. Who our Gods are. What our names are. When we were freed. Where we come from. Why we never die but continuously get killed.Â
Having pride as a race is more than being proud of similar features, it includes the heritage and culture than is slowly being devoured by the western world . The western world is a pipe dream solicited and forged from the blood, sweat and ignorance of the masses. To make a utopia, the African and her children’s brains and souls are needed. So do not sell your name for 10 dollars an hour . To be continued...
