#matt discourse

i joked abt it a few times king .. u say this as if i dont talk and create content of my favorite characters like every single day lol . i never said i was better than anyone else. all i did was joke abt how fandoms at large prioritize white twink bg characters over relevant women ones. i wasnt going out of my way to tell matt fans to stop liking matt.. i just made an observation in my own personal space. get over it . it literally happened months ago and now i just joke abt it every now and then

(realizes that the op actually makes a really good point about how the dn fandom will take a guy who had .5 seconds of screentime and include him in the main cast, make him part of one of the most popular pairings, create loads of content about him, while at the same time shitting on or at best ignoring the cast of much more plot relevant and developed female characters)

my post wasn't meant to DO ANYTHING. it was a simple observation. matt is immensely popular. a post on tumblr about how that seems ridiculous to me is not going to vanish all the matt content from earth ?????? it's a simple observation, it's not directed to anyone specifically and the fact that so many people took it as a personal attack is ..hm.
