South Rim Mather Point - in the Snow 5212 by Grand Canyon NPS January 3, 2023. There was limited visibility from Mather Point on what was a very snowy Tuesday morning. During the month of January, 2023, the South Rim of the park received a total of 64 inches (157 cm) and that's an additional 50 inches (127 cm) more snow than during a "normal" January!
