Wonderful idea! Can you describe something that has left you breathless lately? :)
Thank you for playing, lovely! :)
I keep waking very early, while it’s still dark out. And my room is high at the top of a house, and faces a range of mountains that rolls over my entire horizon.
And so I wake up in the blue dark, and I roll out of bed, and I walk to the windows and see a long, undulating series of slow blue waves, stock still, outlined in pale yellow, then gold. At first it’s always the same. The mountains are featureless before the sun rises – they’re just dark blue, and seem as if they’re made of watercolor, or cloud. Then they lighten, and look as if someone’s outlined them in gold leaf – the kind you illuminate bibles with – and then the sky goes pink. And in the meantime, the houses and trees between me and the mountains have been pure black ink, and the birds have been singing louder and louder and louder. The air in my room is chilly, but if I touch the glass it’s hot.

Thanks for the advice, bbs. It’s hard to accept that I can’t really do much more than I’ve already done, but it helps to hear it from other people.
CA- honestly I don’t think it matters if he tells her, she knows… and I also think it would be inappropriate of him to say anything, given she has a boyfriend… and yes it would be long distance.

Only for a moment; but it was enough. It was a sudden revelation, a tinge like a blush which one tried to check and then, as it spread, one yielded to its expansion, and rushed to the farthest verge and there quivered and felt the world come closer, swollen with some astonishing significance, some pressure of rapture, which split its thin skin and gushed and poured with an extraordinary alleviation over the cracks and sores! Then, for that moment, she had seen an illumination; a match burning in a crocus; an inner meaning almost expressed.
Virginia Woolf, Mrs. Dalloway
Then came the most exquisite moment of her whole life passing a stone urn with flowers in it. Sally stopped; picked a flower; kissed her on the lips. The whole world might have turned upside down! The others disappeared; there she was alone with Sally. And she felt that she had been given a present, wrapped up, and told just to keep it, not to look at it--a diamond, something infinitely precious, wrapped up, which, as they walked (up and down, up and down), she uncovered, or the radiance burnt through, the revelation, the religious feeling! -Virginia Woolf, Mrs. Dalloway
