The sands have settled in piles along the fenced-in campsite, trapping the group inside. The skies are fifty shades of oranges, yellows and pinks, painted across and incredibly bright, causing our heroes to have to cover their eyes. Orbulite’s normal planetary temperature has increased by ten degrees even without the sun currently beating down on the planet. And pods #3 and #4 are heavily damaged, unlivable unfortunately to those assigned to said pods. The solar panels in which they’re using for the main electricity in the pods are holding up despite a few being wrecked (pods #3, #4 and #7) .
After nine hours of the storm, it settled, seemingly, and allowed those trapped in the pods to come out. Unlike the last time, there is something different in the air. Nobody can put their finger on it but there is a lingering, gut-feeling that this isn’t quite over. Still powerless, our heroes are faced with numerous questions. Is the storm actually over? Is it safe to stay outside? Will they ever get their powers back?
And to add to our heroes’ worries, an unmistakably howling could be heard outside the campsite, the first time they’ve heard anything besides themselves.
INTRODUCING ... THE FIRE HOUNDS:
Fire Hounds are a race of dog-like beasts native to Nidavellir & Orbulite
Most are described as half dog / half salamander, bodies mostly deep purple with huge snouts and spikey backs that are, yes, flamed.
On average, they stand from 23-35 inches tall and have the ability to spit out fireballs!
They are scavengers, consuming anything and everything in their paths.
TLDR from the space cowboys ;;
Basically our heroes are free to leave the pods but be cautious! The planet is currently altering, temperature picking up and sky changing before their very eyes! And they’re about to encounter their first planetary creature! Be careful -- I don’t think Stark packed any fire extinguishers..
