Mastodon.lol is shutting down after its sole admin received justified backlash after he announced to moderate against, not the 'wizard game', but the people posting spoilers to protest it. He was aware his knowledge was lacking but certain of being faultless. His stubborn pride was the deal-breaker.
"Nathan should have just not done anything. If he decides he won't moderate against a game, he should neither moderate people posting spoilers. It's either no discussion at all or all the discussion - following the basic rules. He chose a team in many people's eyes and refused to commune." - me explaining the matter to some folks.
He hilariously lamented a "me, of all people" at accusations of being transphobic or anti-semetic, while never giving a specific reason why that would be so far from the truth (or offensive). He is a globetrotter who had this wordly vibe but eventually he is still a white cis guy from the UK and unfortunately his cisbrit whiteboy roots were calling.
