Fun fact: there are monitors backstage showing what’s happening onstage, and between chorus numbers a bunch of us circled around to watch in a sort of makeshift movie theater 😅 Was it a perfect performance? Of course not. I totally walked into a box, got whacked in the face by the bullfighter’s cape, and missed an entrance (thank goodness there are like 30 other altos who did sing it lol).
