It probably goes without saying, but something happening to the bots I love.
There are a lot of ways that could happen and I’m sure there are more out there.

Once or twice, yeah! It feels weird holding them, though, and bots don’t trust me with sparklings all that often anyway.
"My... My Lord... I do believe... that Starscream is quite angry with me..."
Megatron’s optics flicker. “Which Starscream? The Princess?”
He frowns. The Princess contacted him recently about Kaon, and Megatron has seen for himself how much the Princess likes Kaon and his sparklings.
And the Princess had a predictably... enraged response to hearing about Kaon’s “master” in those communications.
Megatron sighs. This Tarn--from what Megatron knows of him, he tormented Kaon into obedience, grew fond of his new pet, and then abandoned him.
Leaving him for others to put back together again.
Including Megatron himself, as it happened. And now, it seems, including the Princess.
Who Megatron respects as an ally, yes. But this could get... complicated.

I don’t even know of him. But if he mistreats you… hatred should be the meagerest of his worries then.
"Did you see the fireworks after all?"
Yes! Phoenix, Knockout, Allen, and I found a small town that set off fireworks from a field, and we all hid in the forest nearby to watch. The trees were thick but not too tall, so we could stand and look right out of the tops of them. The humans all brought their cars and watched, but they had no idea we were there.
It was very relaxing. I’ve always liked fireworks.
